Great analogies - I believe Amazing Facts and Doug Bachelor to be the most true to the Bible pastors I've found.

It's quite obvious that You believe it is shameful to be on welfare payments, and the way you shamefully speak about it and almost apologise makes those who are on those payments seem somehow lower than other humans. I realise it is an American thing to condemn those on benefits, but the bible had a system of providing for the poor, so haw is it that you are ashamed of this and make others feel bad as well?

I will take my time to respond as I was a SDA and know their theology, the Ten Commandments is called the law of God and is also called a covenant, during the OT it was interpreted literally for the nation of Israel so adultery was the physical act and was never to be interpreted looking and lusting as they did not have an animal sacrifice for that as a sin, secondly murder was the physical act when someone took another persons life and the Sabbath was from Friday - Saturday sunset, since the Lord God was going to create a New Testament in which he would place a new covenant (Ten Commandments in the heart) the prophet Isaiah had this knowledge before it would come about and spoke of it happening in Isaiah 42:21 where the ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ was to magnify the law of God (Ten Commandments in the heart) so you mentioned Matthew 5:17 but left out :18 so let me interpret in :17 the Lord said he would not destroy the law of God but would fulfill it, in verse 18 he said the law of God was only until it would be fulfilled, therefore did the Lord Jesus fulfill the law of God or did he not fulfill it, it can only be one or the other, so by fulfilling it it then reads he completed it as the word fulfill in Greek means to complete, then what did he mean when he said it was only until it would be fulfilled? the answer is found all throughout the NT as you begin to see the Lord Jesus magnifying the law of God later in Mat. 5 where he now teaches adultery is looking and lusting and murder is also magnified, so two out of the ten were dealt with as being magnified and to this the Apostle in 1 John 3:15 said murder is now hatred staying in agreement with the Ten Commandments in the heart, now to this theology the Apostle Paul stands out for he teaches the difference between what is written in stone and what is written in the heart (Ten Commandments in the heart) and he teaches that the law of God written ion stone is dead Romans 7:4 and repeats this truth in 7:6-7 where he teaches in :6 that we are delivered from the law of God in stone and states it is now dead and reveals he is speaking about the law of God written in stone for he said in verse 7 it teaches THOU SHALT NOT COVET, you cannot pervert this and say it was the ceremonial law he was speaking about since the OT never taught THOU SHALT NOT COVET, only the law of God taught this. he then goes on to teach that what was in stone is called the letter that kills and writes this truth in 2 Cor. 3:6 so if someone wants to teach the law of God in stone he is teaching the letter that kills and is now called a minister of death, but if someone will teach the law of God written in the heart where all Ten Commandments are magnified then he is a minister of life. So let us look at the Sabbath in the OT dispensation this is interpreted as from Friday to Saturday sunset and no work shall be done, but in the NT we have a new covenant (Ten Commandments in the heart) we are told to obey the rest and not the Sabbath and the Apostle Paul taught we are to labor to enter that rest, this oxymoron means to keep the commandments of the NT which is faith with works as the Lord Jesus taught 90 commandments in Matthew where he said to take up a cross and follow him, turn the other cheek, go the extra mile, give to everyone that asks.................and then he reveals the rest not the Sabbath in the NT as he taught come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy ladden and I will give you rest, here is a clear understanding of how to enter the spiritual Sabbath by working to rest, therefore every time we keep commandments we are working and our spirit is resting and this we must do everyday and not like the law of God in stone where you only did a one day physical rest, furthermore listen to James who taught the royal law and the law of liberty as he mentioned the law of God magnified (Ten Commandments in the heart) now I will ask you some questions to help set you free, why cannot you find one place in the NT that teaches Christians must obey the Sabbath, there are no such teachings or commandments, secondly why did the Apostle Paul write 17 sins in Galatians 5:19-21 that keep Christians from entering the kingdom of heaven but never mentioned breaking the Sabbath was a sin and neither does he mention it in 1 Cor. 6:9-10 or in Ephesians 5:3-5 surely if breaking the Sabbath was a sin he would mention it, thirdly why did the Lord Jesus never preach e are to obey the Sabbath, four times he told someone to keep the law of God but only taught to love your neighbor as yourself as he mentions only those commandments and never once said keep the Sabbath. Oh yes I know what you have heard as I heard it all myself, Jesus kept the Sabbath and so did the Apostle Paul, this is not as true as those who preach it make it out to be, since both the Lord Jesus and the Apostle Paul taught ton every day of the week, again the Apostle Paul taught the unsaved in the synagogue on the Sabbath but the saved brethren he taught on the first day of the week Acts 20:7 and wrote for us to gather on the first day of the week in 1 Cor. 16:1-3 now if you search the truth then look at the first century and those who wrote epistles during that time and you will discover that they all kept the first day worship and not the Sabbath as Christians only you will discover that James led the church back under the law of Moses and the Ten Commandments in stone bringing them into bondage and to this the Apostle Paul wrote the book of Hebrews to rebuke all of them for going back to the Levite preisthood and the Ten Commandments in stone for he said God found fault with the first covenant and so he created a second covenant Hebrews 8:7 knowing that the Apostle Paul calls the Ten Commandments in stone a covenant in
Hebrews 9:4 Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant;
can you see where he calls the tables of stone a covenant? now learn the truth;
Hebrews 8:7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.
the first covenant is the Ten Commandments written in stone and it is to be interpreted literally, physically, but the second covenant is the Ten Commandments in the heart and all of them are magnified including the Sabbath, do you get it? for you cannot say today adultery is looking and lusting and then teach the Sabbath is from Friday to Saturday sunset this is bondage and a huge contradiction -
