As as many scholars have indicated, the Eucharist is a theme that runs right through the entirety of the Gospel and which finds richest expression in the famous chapter six.

Robert, good vid. Too bad the "church" only reads John 6 every other summer. And of course when referring to the "church" you mean the Roman Catholic church which cannot be mistaken for the Church of scripture which is also called the Body of Christ. You got that right yet?

I come from a Catholic family, but I am struggling with the Catholic prayers as the means of my spiritual food with God. I rely more on the bible, reading the beautiful examples set by Jesus. Personally talking to him in a regular conversation. Attending educational Christian experiences that can help me apply Christian values into my own life.
I'm a hybrid Christian I'd say. I attend Catholic mass, but i also attend Christian educational experiences that help me further my relationship with God. Attending Catholic Church, may not always be enough spiritual food for me. The most exciting part about Catholic mass is the gospel and the homily for me, than the songs! -
I like seeing Meister Eckhart in his library.

I have found this to be very true. Since returning to faith in God, I have found prayer to be extremely therapeutic and humbling and the works of mercy as an excellent guide for the release of my zeal, instead of holding in my frustrations with the world and it becoming toxic anger. Since doing just these two things the consistency of peace in my life and inner world has dramatically changed for the better.

What about reading and reflecting on the Word? It really feeds me daily.

Fr Robert Barron provides a clear, unequivocable analysis of the faith.

YES to ALL that you are saying Bishop Barron. My spiritual food that truly help are: Daily Mass, daily hourly Eucharistic adoration, daily Rosary, daily spiritual reading (Bible, Marian books, lives of saints), and weekly confession. Now I am looking for opportunities to serve the Church and my brothers and sisters who are in need.

I love Eucharistic Adoration...
Bishop Barron, if I am so lucky as to get to make my hour of Adoration this week, I will pray for your ministry (as well as likely shed a few tears for my country, but I'm sure Jesus wont be confused by my multiple prayer intentions)
your videos are a form of spiritual nourishment for me; right now my access to spiritual literature due to practical circumstances, and I'm trying to avoid my usual favourite TV shows that I've recently recognised are more like spiritual poison for me than anything ... so when I'm at home and thinking of turning on the TV, instead for now I turn to watching your inexhaustible collection of YouTube videos. :) so thank you, and thanks be to God for the work you do. -

Hello farther,
I love your videos they're very in-depth and I always come away from them with a clear mind on the matters you address. I was wondering, could you do a video on the incorruptible bodies, like the one of St Bernadette. Also could you comment on the miracles of the Catholic Church. I find that there can be a lot of hype sometimes, many Catholics jump in and show me stories and for example, the pictures of St Bernadette and say "See, look a miracle!" But after reading that her face and hands are made of wax, It doesn't look as miraculous as they claim it to be. I'm not saying that nothing miraculous happened at Lourdes, I just want to know the truth. The Catholic Church is a beautiful bride for Christ, but many tend to get caught up in worshiping that beauty instead of Focusing on Christ. But I do love the church :) I'm so happy to be back in the church. Anyway, What would you have to say about this? I would love to Hear your answer farther :)
God Bless,

The great thing about the eucharist, too, is that it's actually food. It's sort of a marriage between our souls and our bodies, and the spiritual things of our religion with the physical.

Doing all these things. Still lost and drifting, God still absent, me still sinning. I guess Fr Barron is a bit insulated from the reality laymen face and thinks his theoretical framework his flawless.

Pray to Mr. Cracker! Gobble up Jesus! how can any scientifically person in the 21st century believe this nonsense?
