This was really a great man of God, his teachings were great and they brought many people to the presence of God through preaching and baptism. May he Rest in Peace until we meet at the great table of God

Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of HIS Saints, Truly we have lost a spiritual bulwark a precious saint who has epitomized true love, service, and dedication in the army of our SOVEREIGN LORD. Having the privilege myself to work with Pastor
Charls Decador Brooks affectionately called C.D.Brooks in Manchester Jamaica W.I in the 1980s, has even springboard my relationship with the LORD.
Let us all realize Pastor C.D. Brooks is one of GOD's precious Jewels temporary stashed away in a box awaiting the life giver's voice to a life of perpetual bliss. Let us all, as we establish ourselves in the faith through the rich legacy of his ministry along with those who are still tirelessly proclaiming the GOOD NEWS, keep laying hold on the blessed hope and endeavor to tell the world "JESUS is coming again" as we point a lost world back to the truth. "This is the way walk ye in it" Isaiah 30: 21 KJV. Let us remain faithful as we await these words from our LORD "well done good and faithful servant enter thou in the joy of your LORD"
“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:”

What a lovely tribute to a God-fearing man. I hope to meet you in Heaven one day, Br. Brooks.
-
I look forward to meeting him on the sea of glass.

This was truly one of our pillars that stood on a platform and allowed Jesus to rise in all of His Glory. Pastor Brooks truly was a influence on me and I was always looking forward to watching or hearing his sermons. They reminded me that Christ came looking for me not that I was looking for him. I did not know that he passed, I have been doing mission work in Nicaragua and so I had very little internet. R.I.P

Elder Brooks will be sadly missed in the field of evangelism. "The Lord watches over you even as you sleep in the grave".
-
Pastor C.D. Brooks was truly one the "greatest" preacher in the Seventh Day Adventist Church. I thank my Lord and Savior for letting me see and hear him speak. Amen and amen.

Now this is the kind of Godly music that should be found in every Seventh Day Adventist Church on ever Saturday Sabbath around the world as well in Europe and the States.

Pastor Word, Pastor Samuel Thomas, Pastor Dudley, Pastor E. E. Cleveland, now Pastor Brooks, and others like them who assisted in setting up the Adventist African Conference of the Americas, African Americans Civil Right Workers are gone and Oakwood Univeristy, the Regional Conference of the African American Ministries of the Adventist Church , the Northern Caribbean , South Caribbean University, and the African Conference of the Caribbean Islands that we most move on. and not stop until Jesus comes.
