So I have come to really understand why God does this to us and really understand the purpose of loneliness in The Christian walk. thank you for making me cry..because last night I tried to OD because even though I have a wife and 5 beautiful kids I still feel alone everyday in life..I hope I can reclaim my salvation with God but I feel like the devil has a hold on me and I feel God is giving up on me

I have struggled with this as well and having bpd has not helped. I have also been extremely attacked by "christians" and I have come to a point where I fear opening up to Christians or anyone for that matter. sometimes I feel better off but at the same time I long for this as well. be encouraged brother. thank you for your transparency.

I have been called by God to pray for marriage restoration & believe me, it's been VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY lonely everyday.

I have the same experience as you described. There is nothing in this word that makes me really happy and gives me rest but God.
Down here it's a dessert and because of that God's child realizes he is in need to find the Fathers heart...

Just prayed for u! May you find a fellowship or a spiritual family u can come home to and have fellowship and share with. I felt u bro! Been lonely myself inside though im surrounded by many people. Just continue to depend and cling on God. Enjoy that desert season u are in. It's gonna be worth it when God has finally brought u out of that season. And u can only look back and praise God for it.:)

Hey Mario, how are you? I got here because I've been feeling lonely. Recently, I been through something hurtful and I'm trying to find answers in God. I've got rid of some things that I use to rely on, and now I don't have these things anymore, but now I feel lonely. It is scary to trust God cause you don't know when He will change your situation. But if we don't trust God, we fall into our own doing and our own doing leads to sin. I feel like there's no winning sometimes.

I've been saved 31 years and it's been lonely... I've sought friendship and relationships in the world because there were no others like me... but that just got me wounded and lost... God proved to be my best and ultimate friend because He never left nor forsook me. Now I'm living for Him and would rather be a lonely misfit... sold out to Him... than have all the friends in the world. Hallelujah.

I'm struggling hard with this . Rough being 19 and saved
