God's mercy endures forever for those who are saved, not for the unsaved. Have you read the Old Testament? Do you not know how God punished the enemies of the Israelites. Have you not read how He punished their enemies? Revelation (future event) 20:15 says, "Anyone whose name was NOT found written in the book of life, He was cast into the lake of fire. There they will be tormented day and night forever and ever." God said it. Believe it. Remember: God's ways are not our ways. You might think you know what's best, but believe me, you don't. God knows what He's doing. Trust Him.

Meekness, honesty, self-control...Yep, they're all good for business. Showing mercy is a good thing too; however, you can be meek, honest, have self-control, and show mercy, but still not wholeheartedly believe in Jesus Christ....still not believe He is the ONLY WAY to receive eternal life. Growing up, others considered me meek and honest with self-control and merciful.. my teachers, my friends, my parents, sisters and brothers, etc., but I was not saved. I thought because I had these traits I was heaven-bound, but I wasn't. I was dead wrong!!! It wasn't until after I discovered how VERY sinful that I truly repented. I was so far from being like Christ, yet I didn't know it. Don't deceive yourself like I did. I'm still listening....

Once man fell into sinful flesh they could not be in God's presence without being consumed by fire. And no flesh can inherit the kingdom right?

next life everyone going to heaven no no no the bible says narrow is the road to heaven and jesus is the only way to heaven unbelievers will not enter heaven.

I love it. Don't get me wrong, I love your other videos but they are hard to use as teaching tools with the family on "worship" day. You should consider doing something like this on each book of maybe the NT - a verse by verse deal or teaching verse by verse summary of each book. I know you like arguing with the atheist, and you can still do that but consider the following:
Whoever corrects a scoffer gets himself abuse, and he who reproves a wicked man incurs injury. Do not reprove a scoffer, or he will hate you; reprove a wise man, and he will love you. Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be still wiser; teach a righteous man, and he will increase in learning. (proverbs 9:7-10) (see God wants you to do it :-)) Plus like you covered here, pearls before swine, etc -
Do works matter. Yes but no amount of works. Grace does not require good works; BUT you will be doing good works if/when you get Grace. Sounds circular but big difference. If you are like a Pharisee but with good works, filling up your good works card for the day but you are right with God or you view "another Jesus". Well, you may force yourself to do some good works however you will also do bad works (the tree either produces all good fruit or not). When you find bad works in your mix then I think you don't have Grace. I think backsliders don't really exist, I think they are people that never really connect to Jesus under Grace - a good example would be the weekend warrior that in 5 minutes says the sinners pray and amen saved under Jesus Grace. Then a day or two or a week, Jesus is maybe in their minds once a day or everyone day or maybe on Sundays, bad works creep in , etc. The issue is not works but did they really get Grace (Saved). I think works can only be used as that indicator as a fruit inspector (for yourself), am I REALLY right with God am I really under his Grace and salvation for his work on the cross and resurrection.
So, it can be confusing - do works matter --- yes and no and not for the reasons you think lol. -

I was just thinking as you were talking about people saying that you cannot be saved after death (which we've flushed out fully before); however, when you said it here, my mind jump to certain accounts NDE people have that they are in Hell or being attacked (something in that vain) and as soon as they cry out for Jesus, he saves them. In fact, if memory serves, a similar account to that came from an atheist (well, now a former atheist :-) But yeah, a lot of NDE accounts back up your point.

the Pharisees wanted to not but not want to know. They were no different then people of today, they want to go to heaven, they just don't want God there. They want to hear God but only to the extent that it agrees with their theology. The Pharisees fit that perfectly.

Good video, the sermon on the mount is such an essential lecture of guidance in life. I like the confirmation that Jesus is referring to giving and helping those who are financially down and not the other way around. I'm sure some have become confused and gave to people who are well off and are distant from God in their errors.
