you asked if anyone has found a doom buggy, I have not yet, but I have found (to my surprise) a hovercraft!! oh yeah. have you found one? I assume you have. hence all the hours I know you put into your games
-
this was double tough.thumbs up slack!!!
-
I have always been a more strategic Stealth gamer, I enjoy keeping out of sight and picking off my foes one by one, whether with a sniper rifle/bow or just sneaking up behind each enemy and stabbing them.
-
Plan A : Stealth
Plan B : Screw it all and resort to Run and Gun -
I'm kinda in the mix of both. I like run n' guning but I also like stealth. I think I like more stealth because you have to be patient and takes a lot of concentration amd tactics and you get to enjoy and explore the game more and if you screw up and are busted then you have to run for your life and kill every one instead of runing and guning wich you just show up at the objective kill everyone and thats it. I'm more stealth. I've been playing the Hitman games for the past week now because I got the for free in PSN it was a bundle of the HD Hitman games It includes Hitman Contracts Hitman 2 silent assassin and Hitman Blood money and the Hitman games are a lot of fun is base on stealth only and it is really fun. I spent on one mission like maybe an hour trying to find out how to kill the target and finding ways to kill him and infiltrate and all that there is a lot of trial and error in that game lots of replays.

Oh and stealth in metal gear solid is hugely entertaining
-
Stealth by far. Love taking my time. The Hitman games are some of my fav games for that reason. If I run and gun I usually die :) Exception- Borderlands!
-
He he, he he… He said, "crevice." ;)
I am a stealth guy, primarily. I love running and gunning too, but only a light peppering of it. lol (Of course, it depends on the game. I know we're talking FC4 here, but I feel like I should mention it.) It's difficult to go with just one play style in this game. Sometimes, it just begs for Rambo! :)
The ATV is my favorite vehicle in this game, by far! (At least that I've found so far.) I must look like a psycho to the kids when I'm sitting in front of the tv laughing crazily while tearing through the wilderness at top speed. XD
Stick with the Slack and you won't have to use the stupid tracker. ;) -
Slack, man. I wish you would check out and feature the signature weapon "The Shredder". I think it's the best stealth weapon, besides the bow. Great vids, keep 'em comin'.
-
Be stealthy slack
-
Regarding the radio in the Dune Buggy I've found you can turn it off in the PS4 version, can you not do the same on the PC version Slack?
-
Run and Gun AND stealth. I like a little of both. If the game has the option of completing a series of objectives in either mode, that would make the game challenging for the "that" particular player. Not everyone has the same playing style!
-
What I prefer? Depends on situation and mission. Usually I go with stealth, if possible stealth with a melee weapon. I love Laser Rapier from System Shock 2. I wish there are proper melee weapons in Far Cry games like it was in Far Cry 2. And some melee skills. Takedowns can be fun but I prefer normal melee fight without takedowns. Like in old Deus Ex for example.
Sometimes the best stealth for me is a terminator-style walking with a machine gun :D. Also when game is not fair I tempt to take heavy weapons and go on rampage XD.
YouBeSoft is really overdoing it with the handholding. And whaťs the point of a tracker if you don't need it? Sheesh. -
I like a mix of both, helps with the monotony. Yeah, looks like the old days are gone and now we have to endure the hand-holding games. Great vid Slack, Thumbs uP! :)
-
I like a mix of both really. (I'm talking about FC3 though) some advice Slack... FC4 has been released, in the UK it seems, on steam. Should I get it?
-
Mostly I prefer stealth however sometimes there's nothing quite like a good old run n gun
-
I do both styles, but stealth is my main priority.
Btw, do you remember how bad was driving an atv in gta sa? :D -
I always start stealthy . . .
-
I prefer going the stealth way, but especially this game often forces me to "change plans" ;)

Funny you should ask that, Slack, re stealth vs. run'n'gun. Earlier in the day, and before I watched, this I uploaded my first video in years to YouTube, mainly to see if I could do it right with free software and have the quality look ok. It happened to be part of one of my lengthy FC4 gameplay recordings, where I took on the Open Hearts Clinic liberation. I failed miserably on the stealth as I'd forgotten your standoff point and didn't even remember to "Take the high ground, you worthless maggot!". So I had to go running'n'gunning, with unexpected quickscoping -- which I never realised I could do before or even that I was doing it :) -- and almost dying several horrible deaths, but finally made it.
So yeah - at stealth I should probably be called "Major Suck" :) and at run'n'gun: "General Mayhem" if I survive, or "Private Pyle" when I get spanked :D
p.s. I'm not posting a link to my video here as that wouldn't be cool. I haven't made it public yet as I wanted to ask if you would mind me mentioning you in the description, along the lines of "This is how it should be done", with a link to your video of the Open Hearts Clinic Outpost? If it's not ok I'll just leave the description as is. Not that it would drive tons of traffic to your channel as I don't get (m)any viewers anyway :)
