Friday Sermon delivered by Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. Recorded on 17th February 2017. Huzur (aba) said that February 20th is known in Jama’at as Musleh Ma’ood Day. This refers to the great prophecy of the Promised Son and Reformer which was given to the Promised Messiah (as). As we know, this prophecy was fulfilled in the person of Hazrat Mirza Bashir-ud-Din Mahmud Ahmad (ra) and is a significant sign of the truthfulness of the Promised Messiah (as) in this age. Allah gave Hazrat Musleh Ma’ood (ra) the status of Khilafat in 1914. All the signs in the Prophecy of Musleh Ma’ood could be seen in him, but he did not make the announcement of being the Musleh Ma’ood. His stance was that if I am indeed the Musleh Maud and the signs are being fulfilled, then people will understand themselves. It was in 1944 when he announced to be Musleh Ma’ood based on a vision shown by Allah. He said it was difficult for him to mention visions and revelations about himself, but it had become necessary due to certain conditions. After his claim of being Musleh Ma’ood in 1944, his enemies raised many allegations. He said at the Jalsa of 1945 that since my claim, Maulvi Muhammad Ali sahib of has been raising allegations, even though I’ve based my claim on divine revelation. Instead of these allegations, Maulvi Muhammad Ali sahib should present his own revelations that he has received from Allah. Then Huzur (aba) presented various revelations of Hazrat Musleh Ma’ood regarding his own status. For example, Hazrat Musleh Ma’ood says that he was given a revelation which he mentioned to the Promised Messiah (as). The Promised Messiah (as) also noted this revelation in his notebook. This revelation means that people who will follow you will be given victory over those who reject you until the Day of Judgment. People who rejected him were the Ahl- e-Pegham or Lahori Ahmadis. They rejected him and the institution of Khilafat. The revelation was fulfilled because from the very first day, those who accepted Hazrat Musleh Ma’ood (ra) as a Khalifa remained dominant and victorious over those who rejected him. This dominance continues to increase by the day. Huzur (aba) also presented various other revelations of Hazrat Musleh Ma’ood (ra). Huzur said that all Ahmadis should try to watch various programs about the prophecy of Musleh Ma’ood which will be aired on MTA during these days and participate in different programs which will also be organized in Jama’ats worldwide.
