Ricky was killed by a roadside bomb in Iraq. This video is of the talk that his brother Dave gave at his funeral on April 24, 2008.

So very awful to hear about this. What an honor to even know a young man like Rick would give his life for his country. Thank God he knew the Lord and had the opportunity to marry the love of his life and experience the love of a wonderful strong family. God bless you
Dave, I am a recently medically retired soldier, 28 yrs old and was in afghanistan. I appreciate your words for your brother and I am sorry. I am a student at the East Tennessee School of Preaching and Missions and we are learning how to preach funerals, you have helped me to get a grasp on it, I thank you for that!
