What happened to the Love of all that Jesus preached?

no need to try and be politically correct that is being hypocrites the word of God is the the word of God. Nobody owes him an apology he did not follow protocol. Somizi was supposed to go straight to the leadership to iron out the issue not go to media. If GBC cannot stand firm to the truth then they would have failed our community with the truth and the protection of the word. This kind of action will open a can of worms whereby witches will walk out of church when witch craft is addressed as a sin. We cannot be like that. The Bishop is from another part of Africa which means that he did not personally attack Somizi he did not even know who Somizi is. Yes the church does not discriminate come to church as u are smokers, adulterers, gays etc. but don''t expect God to be quite about it he will speak and its not personal!! The only celebrity in church is JESUS!

i am currently fighting a demon of homosexuality in my life , everything in the bible is pure truth , i pray everyday to loose grip of this decease , we must never use physical possessions when we come before God ,Somizi must humble himself just like anybody else. To God be the Glory . A church cannot to report to anybody but God.

The political correctness of the word against the constitution is impossible and the word got compromised already by the Rulers by accepting the unholy practices and now trying to force them in to fundamental principle our believes. God spoke that day through that man of God and must respect that without hassles. No hate speech but cheering was wrong and offensive. When Devil got exposed people must cheer and believer must get free and prepare to accept salvation. Loving being Gay is the statement that suggest is ok and even in church must be accepted.

Bishop Dag....You are too powerful. And the truth shall set us free if only we can embrace it. Fighting with the truth cannot and will not change it. let us call a spade, a spade.

The Bible says homosexuality it's an abomination in front of God's eyes. Period. Somizi you chose to be gay and now swallow it hot and hard honey. "Cheers"
-
There's nothing controversial about the true word of God. Somizi is gay but the word of God will never be preached to suit him,i pray he repents from this evil practice. homosexuality is a sin period

Christianity is a religion created by people after Jesus. Plus, Jesus never stated follow my religion. Jesus Christ wanted as to follow Him, The King Of Kingdom of God and that was what He preached always even in how He thought us to pray. Follow Jesus Christ not Christianity by reading and learning the Word of God, which is the Manual for the World and The Constitution of The Kingdom Called The Holy Bible. To do so here are some quotes to read and understand what Our Father,Jehovah has for Us:
Leviticus 18:22,Leviticus 20:13 and Genesis 19. May Our Lord Jesus Christ be with Us. Amen -
the truth will set us free, from the power of darkness no matter how the truth comes it will remain the truth .thank a lot the the Man of God by preach the truth at the church

A true new testament bible-believing church is not & should bot be a place for political correctness, and it should not be apologetic for that. A Bible-based church must call out all sin as described in the Bible and should apologise for that.
-
the word of God can not be challenged or be changed or even be compared by with constitution

Let him be angry, but you cannot be angry with God with what He said is wrong or right. The views the pastor communicated are from the bible, and the bible is the word of God. If people are moving away from what is right to do what is wrong then I guess judgement will surely separate who was after Gods love. God loves sinners too and who are we to judge?

The world is in a mess it's in because we want to twist the Word of God to suit us.

How is this news again???Its wrong its wrong, Somizi has been going to that church for sometime, was it the first time the pastor quoted the bible???wats new there Somizi??so now the church is wrong because finally a Scripture about ur disgusting acts has been brought to light??

There is no god, there is zero evidence any god ever existed. The bible is just a tool to justify people's dislike for others that are different. The bible is text by primitive superstitious people, its 2017 its time to grow up.

In response to Somizi's response, I think this speaks a lot to how pastors and many Christians are so insensitive firstly, to the ways in which we treat one another. Secondly, I completely agree with what he said in terms of him being gay is his issue with God and God alone can and if it is his will, change that for Somizi. Now, having said that, I do believe that the word of God is true and just and make no mistake that God will not bend his will, to the will of man, uh uh, no way. Thus, it clearly states that homosexuality is a sin, cool we understand that in black and white paper terms. However, from my own very personal experience, this is a much deeper thing, hence one needs to always ask Gos for wisdom and guidance and for a soft heart to take in everything he teaches you. I believe that homosexuality is a spirit that then latches on to certain people, hence, I still stand by today in saying that people who are gay, are born that way cos ultimately, if homosexuality is a spirit, then it can attach to people from a very young age and the spirit would then manifest itself through time. The reason for stating this is that I hope that it will help mostly Christians in their insensitivity to treat people in love, just the way God loves ALL OF US!!! If we can start to understand that homosexuality is a spirit, then we can learn to deal with the spirit and not by hating the person, so that hate and discrimination do not fall on the person cos then that is a sin within itself. We can separate the spirit from the person and cast the spirit out and not judge or condemn the person. A similar notion goes for the spirit of hate or the Jezebel spirit, it is all ultimately the same thing. Also, I hate that pastors or spiritual leaders go on and on about homosexuality being a sin, yet, adultery is not given the same amount of air time. ALL SIN IS EQUAL IN THE EYES OF THE LORD!!! and again, God is not going to bend to human will just to make you feel good about yourself cos the reality is that, God doesn't need you boo boo but it is by grace that he chose you. So please all those Christians who are insensitive to the LGBTI community, get off your self-righteous high horse and stop casting the first stone, when you know you probably have a whole mountain to climb in your backyard. We are all sinners anyway!!!! Hence we have God's grace so we need to be grateful and humble not hateful and self-righteous.

Christians cheer about a lot of things when pastors preach even about money, adultery, drinking, giving and many others....And people have choices to stay in church and enjoy lifestyle issues or change for what God and the Bible says about lifestyle....

if its a sin its a sin, preachers need to speak the Truth as they will have God to answer to for misleading people. The truth is not always pleasant, but it is what builds us and makes us better people. The church should show love towards all men, the doors should be opened for all men, how else do you want to reach a multitude with the Word of God
