It is absolutely no wonder why this church is half empty.

God Bless Bishop Olmsted and Fr. Lankeit for speaking the truth in season and out of season. We all need to pray that the other Bishops would follow their lead.

I find it disgusting that this subject matter was discussed as part of the Homily in a Catholic Mass and that the church and obviously our bishop would so blatently promote what they want using guilt. The truth is, Mrs. Clinton is upholding the current law as are all other politicians at this point in time. This priest really skewed so many things in his message - to "fit" what the church wants, not based in fact. There is a real reason church and state are separated. Our Constitution and Declarations were created purposefully without the mention of God and religion for a reason. It's time to start letting people decide all things as people with consciences instead of being guilted into it by their pastors and church.

Superb !

Catholics are very divided on this. The pope doesn't even like Trump and wants open borders and no walls, except for the vatican ofcourse. Most Catholics are voting Hillary and believe abortion is between the woman and God. There are a few who agree with Trump.

Good Lord, give us more Priests like this!

The sermon was excellent. It was a much needed reminder of what a POS Hillary Clinton and the Demoʞratic party is.

God Bless You Father John for this Homily! I pray that this Homily opens the minds and hearts to many Catholics and non-Catholics.

Abortion is wrong. I will always council a person against having an abortion because there are other options! That being said and understood, I feel that this church should have it's tax exempt status taken away for promoting a particular political party. This man, the priest, is breaking the law.

No catholic should vote for a child killer .

this Priest is my new hero!!

My priest, Fr. Eric, is a wonderful speaker as you are. But I feel as if I belong in your parish. He is more obsessed with ministering to the poor in Mexico and comes down on his parishioners for politics. (Don't worry you aren't alone) He wants open borders and much influences people to vote Democratic to my wonderment over abortion!!! He mentioned his sister nearly had an abortion but now he has a niece - but after 18 years of his homilies - that's it! He dedicated a corner of his new church complex to the senselessly unborn - but something people pass by often without thinking of it. This is a sensitive issue to me. As half of an infertile couple, we would LOVE to have to have adopted a baby. We were on the list in Rockford, IL, when my husband worked for Green Giant. We moved to St. Louis for Purina and - I was too old for the list. For two years we went to go to meetings in Rockford. But we realized there were 50 people on the list and one baby placed a year, so we gave up the 6 hour round trip. I have sat at St. Patrick's Church year after year, enjoying Fr. Eric's sermons but missing this crucial point! Just like on Facebook, no one talks about abortion. My goodness, this year people are becoming enemies over Hillary v. Trump and yet no one says the word abortion! This is what my soul wanted to hear today. Thank you Father!!! <3

Great courage, a true man of God
I have bought the Book Miracle of Life by Swedish photographer Lennart Nilsson in the 90s in Europe as a teenager. You can never forget these micro images and mistake the truth anymore. Baby pictures speak for themselves.
I never found that book here, but I found the PBS documentary.

During the Woman's march in Washington this January 2017. the organizer did not allow the pro-life groups to participate.
Unborn babies have right to choose their life. We can speak on their behalf.
