I secretly converted to Judaism years ago bc of the nonsense in Youthgroup. It appeared a lot like this. Speakers sounded like this, exactly. Yet, no one took gd seriously. They ate Cheetos, played games, and told kids to not have sex. Other than that, awkward prayer sessions, watching movies about helping the poor in Africa, spending 3000 dollars to help the poor in Africa....I adored the people, the youth pastor became my family. The people are often genuinely sweet and well meaning. But I can't take the religion they follow seriously. I had a lot of fun in youthgroup, no doubt. But at 17, after a serious spiritual infliction, I sensed that I wanted to know gd. It would be easy if I did the same thing I always did after hurt, like at church camp. Walk up to the alter, confess my sins, ask Christ to be the center, then try to live in his ways. That was always easy, but I don't believe it right. I wanted to see who gd truly was and what he truly required. I've been a crypto Jew for a while, no body knows. Yet, they think I was such a strong Christian while having no idea what I truly believed. I need a formal conversion, though. My Jewish ancestry is too far away to just observe without a formal conversion. I say this because people assume that young people move away from the faith because they have been hurt by the church. Not always. I was never hurt by the church, only loved. I just know what they teach is vastly different than what the Original Hebrew Bible teaches.

I'm glad that I found this channel, because I've had a question about Noah's flood for a long time and how god dealt with it. OK. So the rainbow is God's message to us that he won't drown all of mankind the next time he decides on genocide. So, how WILL God kill ALL OF HUMANITY the next time he practices genocide on a massive, MASSIVE scale? Beheading all of us doesn't seem to be very efficient. Nor does throwing us from high buildings / cliffs. And it would take a LONG time to slit all of our throats. Perhaps massive poisonings? Or re-releasing the plague ala 1346 Europe? A flu epidemic? Maybe God would like to kill us all through a massive world-wide famine and have us slowly starve to death? But that doesn't seem painful enough! What can God do to kill every man, woman AND child (especially those evil children!) in the most hideous, painful way possible...you know, to let them know what's coming when he casts them into hell for all of eternity? I would think that being hacked to death bit by bit with an axe would appease God's blood-lust. But again, not practical considering that there are 7.5 billion of us on the planet. How about if all of our genitals (those nasty, NASTY bits of sinful flesh!) just suddenly dried up and rotted off? THAT would kill two birds with one stone! Anyway, I'm just pondering how the all-loving and merciful god (peace be unto him) might kill all of us during his next tirade. Let's hear YOUR suggestions! What's the BEST way for god to kill us all? Use your imagination! See if YOU can be as evil and diabolical as the god of the Old Testament (I doubt you can...but hey, we won't know unless you try!).

Religion is a business. Pure and simple.

I like this, right on point and taps into the proper source.

Only thing that bothers me is he is using "My God" as an adjective more than a praise. :(

This guy is awesome! I don't know why people hate youth groups. By the way, Reb Bradley is a hateful, clueless, legalistic piece of garbage.

Could it be that the gimmicks that brought the 500 in were not able to mature them. And the 30 were the ones who really loved Jesus for who he is and were hungry for the Word. Why does he assume that bigger is better?

I'm a young atheist and most of the young people I know are atheists too. Are you ale to co-exist with us without the need to convert us or label us lost?
