In the Beginning Was the Word - John Piper
El contenido de la fe, para escuchar,
John 1:1-3 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. The Gospel of John is a portrait of Jesus Christ and his saving work. It focuses on the last three years of Jesus' life—and especially on his death and resurrection. It's purpose is clear in John 20:30--31: "Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name." The book is written to help people believe on Christ and have eternal life. Sermon taken from: http://www.desiringgod.org/

John 1:1..."The word was with God." So Jesus is not God then.

IF I agree with you THEN why Jesus KEPT calling God as "My God" after his death:
Read John 20:17 and revelation 3:12 and you will find Jesus after his resurrection KEPT calling God as "*MY GOD*". The logic say Jesus mission as a human was accomplished by dying for your sin, then he went back to be God again after resurrection. Therefore, he should address himself as "I" or "I AM HE" But he did not he KEPT saying "My God"
Jesus talking to Mary after his death and before resurrection:
John 20:17 Jesus said, "Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, 'I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'"
Jesus talking to his disciple after his resurrection:
Revelation 3:12 The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on them my new name.
If Jesus was GOD then Revelation 3:12 should be as following:
Revelation 3:12 The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in MYthetempleof my God. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them MYthenameof my Godand the name of MYthecityof my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of MY heavenfrom my God; and I will also write on them my new name.
NOTICE Jesus distinguishing between himself and God by saying
1- I will write on them the name of my God
2- and I will also write on them my new name"
SO Jesus new name is different than his God name -
Can only God be worshiped? I read my bible and i see Jesus was worshiped multiple times and he doesn't rebuke them. In matthew 4 what does he say to satan in the wilderness? Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Jesus knew the law and worship was only for God the highest object of worship otherwise it was idolatry . Yet people worshipped him and werent rebuked. When i read revelation 19.10 john was clearly rebuked by the angel for starting to worship it, or when in Acts the people start to call Paul and Barnabas pagan gods, they both quickly rebuke them. However Jesus never rebuked a person from worshipping him.

well yes, he was calling on God but he also said that he saw the lord at the right hand side of God. so again, Jesus is not God

JUST IMAGINE...CAN ANYONE RAISE A DEAD PERSON,A PERSON BORN BLIND,WASHING OUR SINS THROUGH HIS PRECIOUS BLOOD,GIVING US THE ETERNAL LIFE..UNLESS HE IS FROM GOD OR HE IS GOD MANIFESTED IN FLESH...
-
JESUS SAID...ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE FOR GOD...ITS JUST CLEAR ENOUGH TO .. BELIEVE IN HIS NAME
-
JESUS CLEARLY STATED WHEN THEY ASKED HIM...I AM NOT ALONE MY FATHER IS WITH ME...WHEN JESUS PRAYED HE CLEARLY STATED I IN THE FATHER AND THE FATHER IN ME
-
JESUS CLEARLY STATES BEFORE ABRAHAM WAS BORN I AM,I AM THE WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE
-
JESUS ALSO SAYD I AND THE FATHER ARE ONE...THOSE WHO HAVE SEEN ME HAS SEEN THE FATHER,AT LEAST BELIEVE IN THE MIRACLES THAT I DO,IT IS NOT I IT IS THE FATHER WHO DWELLS IN ME AND IS DOING HIS WORK.
-
JESUS SAID THE FATHER IS GREATER THAN I...ITS BCOZ JESUS WAS QUESTIONED BY WHAT AUTHORITY ARE YOU DOING THESE THINGS
-
its clearly said all things were created by him and for him

klara reid bravo, the word of God says that God has hidden his truth from the wise and intellectual and have revealed them on to babes, no wonder why many who claims to be so educated still reads john ch1 vs 1 and says that the word is God, they say this because God hasn't revealed the truth on to them, because their hearts are not pure and their searching of the scriptures not genuine, but its obviously evident that God has revealed this truth onto you, we cannot know the truth about GOD and understand his word without Him granting us His holy spirit to gain the insight and understanding to come into a relationship with Him

no person can be together with someone if He or She IS that someone.
john 1:1 -
Jesus isn't God he taught us to pray to his father not him
-
when the rich young ruler approached Jesus and said good teacher Jesus replied why do you call me good? one there is the is good and that is God. so logically if Jesus was God he won't have said that, clearly he was saying that he was not God

At Matthew 24: 32 Jesus speaks of the "great tribulation' to his disciples. At verse 36 Jesus continues:
"Matthew 24:36 (ASV) But of that day and hour knoweth no one, not even the angels of heaven, neither the Son, but the Father only.
Now, if indeed Jesus is God, surely he would know when the "great tribulation" would occur.
