RBN had the honour of interviewing, Bro Zac Poonen on this episode of EYE to EYE. Bro. Zac, who was formerly an Indian Naval Officer, has been serving the Lord in India for over 50 years as a Bible-teacher. He has responsibility for a number of churches in India and abroad. He has written more than 25 books and numerous articles in English - which have been translated into many Indian and foreign languages.
Watch this episode and get to know Bro. Zac Poonen, his principles, philosophies and the ethics of the CFC church that he founded. A Man so humble that he does not even like to put big titles before his name though he is deserving for the same. Like the other elders in CFC, Bro. Zac Poonen also supports himself and his family through "tent-making" and does not receive any salary for his services. He does not receive any royalty for any of his books, CDs or DVDs, that are published by Christian Fellowship Church. Do not miss this episode as Bro. Zac answers some of the crucial questions that are so vital for every christian to understand.

Look at this post: "If you think Christianity was never like radical Islam, you have not studied Christian history ": https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=1230238020336215&set=a.484700041556687.131974.100000500854161&type=1
My commentary: The Gospel also has quotes like the Koran to kill unbelievers : Luke 19:27 (New International Version) "But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them--bring them here and kill them in front of me.'"
Whether that was from Jesus or not.
The whole mess started with Abraham who did not question a God who orders to kill an innocent child. (I would have questioned him just for asking me that that...unquestionable obedience even in a crime). You can see the mess this created to this day!
Moses Exodus 32:28 New International Version
"The Levites did as Moses commanded, and that day about three thousand of the people died." for not believing in his version of God, and therefore contradicting the most important of his own God's Mandaments...(New International Version)"You shall not murder... Anyway you cannot escape the Roman Catholic Church when reading the Bible, unless you re write it, because it got the task to preserve and select the 'holy texts' from the unholy ones of the primordials of Christianity.
The only way out is to divorce entirely from authority and simply follow what makes sense, according to love ( the universal Golden rule "Don't do to another what you will not have done to you.) This is what my Philosophic Community project is trying to do...
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_Rule Quote:"the Golden Rule can be found in the early contributions of Confucianism. Kidder notes that this concept's framework appears prominently in many religions, including "Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism, Judaism, Zoroastrianism, and the rest of the world's major religions".[9] According to Greg M. Epstein, "
'do unto others' ... is a concept that essentially no religion misses entirely."[10] Simon Blackburn also states that the Golden Rule can be "found in some form in almost every ethical tradition".[11] All versions and forms of the proverbial Golden Rule have one aspect in common: they all demand that people treat others in a manner in which they themselves would like to be treated." End quote. -

I have watched myriad Ravi lectures. I get a strong impression that he is more emotional and preaching oriented than before. I wonder if he is thinking time is short...
I certainly appreciate his passion. God bless him! -
He sure touches the places in my heart. <3
