Jesus's Sermon on the Mount is perhaps one of the most important and deciphered speeches in history. Many scholars examine the text of the mount beatitudes, and summarize his teachings to center on forgiveness. Many believe Jesus’s teaching to be simple, while others seem to have come up with drastically different conclusions.
