Praise God for Godly preachers who are not intimated by women or people in general!
I agree with John on this, but there were prophetesses in the Bible. There is a place for women to teach, God explains that in Titus 2:3-5,The aged women likewise, that they be in behavior as becomes holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children. To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
I appreciate John preaching on an issue most preachers and church goers avoid. . I am so thankful I go to a home church that encourages the men to speak up in the church service like 1 Cor. 14 also commands. This allows men go grow in being spiritual leaders. But part of that happening is for the women to remain silent so the men can develop into leaders at home women say they want. This gives opportunity also for the church to correct the men who speak wrongly, thus also making them better husbands and fathers at home. I would hate to have to correct someone's wife or any woman publicly in church. They are the weaker vessel and don't think they should be put in that situation, no more than I think they should be on the front lines of physical war between two nations.

Does a woman have authority to commission a man according to scripture? Have a woman in scripture ever laid hands upon a man?
Give me one example in scripture where a woman ever ordain a man or poured oil on a man's head. It takes a person with authority to delegate authority to another as do bishops. Does a woman have the authority from God to ordain a man?
woman who are mad and want to be leaders should remember the bible says the leaders are held to a much higher standard and responsibility. your responsibilities are not unappreciated. what you do to support your husbands the Lord is pleased and will bless you.

I agree with The Bible 100%. And what John MacArthur is saying is exactly what The Bible says. It is what it is.
GOD SAID TO FOLLOW JESUS! NOT PAUL! WHY DIDN'T JESUS SAY THIS WHEN HE WAS WALKING THIS EARTH
so far this guy provides the best perspective/explanation about the part of 2 tim that says a woman will be saved through childbearing. i couldnt get that for the life of me and honestly cringe at the statement since my understanding is we are saved by grace through faith....according to this guy that saved in the verse is not of a spiritual justification but a natural one....i guess 😒
Women (so called preachers), are not saved and leading their (so called flock) to hell because the blind can't lead the blind unless they both fall into a pit.
IMO, women are great teachers. Every man's first teacher is his mother. I regard my mother as my best teacher next to Jesus and the Buddha. But in a church women often lack the spiritual authority to teach.
And this is what I call...RELIGION!!!
