Proposition: As Christians we can always have joy, because we have a living hope. 1) Why do we have a living hope? (1:3) The Father's great mercy. 2) How do we have a living hope? (1:3) Through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. 3) What is the living hope? (1:4) An inheritance kept in heaven. 4) To whom is it given? (1:5) Those being guarded by faith.
