The book of Jude is a tiny book, tragically neglected by students, yet overflowing with fascinating Old Testament references and allusions: lessons from Israel in the wilderness, the angels that sinned, the strange events of Sodom and Gomorrah, and other insights from Cain, Balaam, as well as the mysterious person known as Enoch. . This study contains 10 hours of verse by verse teachings

It's really too bad that whoever digitized these talks did such a horrific job. Sections of dead air, sessions in wrong order, insertions of random portions of other sessions in the middle of critical points Missler is making, etc. - a total travesty.
Don't judge the content by the incompetence of the person who posted/assembled this.
Note that this talk was done in late 1987 and in the intervening 30 years, Chuck''s perspectives have evolved somewhat. For example, these days he looks askance at the Kabbahlists whereas in this talk he speaks Somewhat positively of them.
He also now views the "outer darkness" as not being a reference to hell (listen to his series "Thy Kingdom Come" for an explanation), plus he has 30 more years of study under his belt.
This is a good study (or was before someone butchered it) but listen to his 2000+ vintage talks for even better insights. -
STOP CUTTING IN AND OUT HALFWAY THROUGH REALLY GOOD POINTS ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

Cain's sacrifice was works. Abel's was willing to part with a precious life and entrust that life to God. Cain wanted God to be impressed by the result of his labor. Abel's sacrifice involved no labor of any kind. It involved separating himself from an intelligent, precious, and gentle living being. That's why his sacrifice was good and Cain's wasn't. There's nowhere that it says the disgusting notion that God required bloodshed. It was works versus faith.

If the BOOK OF ENOCH is not true why do the Apostles quote from it? If THE BOOK OF ENOCH is not true why did JESUS CHRIST quote from if?
-
If THE BOOK OF ENOCH IS NOT true how could he possibly walked with GOD as a favorite and spared Enoch death and raptured him to Heaven?
-
I once thought: This ain't Chuck Missler! Now, I have been advised otherwise.

It has been pointed out to me, that when cain and able took sacrifices before God, cains sacrifice was rejected because it wasnt a blood sacrifice. It says that the Lord loved the aroma of the blood and fat that was burned upon the alter. So cain should have taken the fruits of his labor and traded, his brother Abel for a lamb to take before the Lord, for a blood sacrifice. But instead of doing that, he lets his anger,(stoked by satan, whispering in his ear.)control him, and kills his brother Abel.
