Far more than a "how not to gossip" study, this video-based small group study challenges women to dig deep into what the Bible says about the ways we use our words-both in person and online-and when we should just keep our lips zipped.

Great message, I just have to give this afternoon a short messagge to a small group of men and your message fits perfectly to the use of our words for blessing or for cursing, something that shoud not happen in a christian life. Thanks, I will follow your messages... God bless you.

Loved the decor in the background, personal stories, and the way you wrote out the scriptures.

Oh my gosh....this is awesome! I find myself in great need of this right now. The first part of this video was carried with me all day long at work...where I often need it most. Can't wait to see what lies ahead throughout this entire study. Thank you so much for being led to lead this study.

Awesome video. So much I need to hear and need to work on, especially with my family.

I am so excited about this bible study. I want to be a better role model for my grown children and only speak as Christ would speak when discussing things with them.
-
What a timely study. I am working on being careful about what I say and when not to speak at all.

I am so touched by this study. Its hit home in so many ways. Thank you for this.

I got caught away from home yesterday as the weather here was bad and I decided to stay overnight and come home today when the roads were better. I loved the video, and loved how it went right along with the book, and was glad that I had already read the first 3 chapters. I had an incident in the summer of hurting a friend's feelings, and instead of understanding when she lashed out at me, I became a 10 year old again and said hateful things right back because my feelings had been hurt by her. I have since apologized to her for my temper and my hateful words. I saw that friend today. We no longer hang around with each other, but we are on speaking terms. I was in Wal Mart and she made a point to call out to me from a good ways away to tell me "HI!"!!! I feel like God is pointing out my incident of unkind words and maybe telling me that he's GLAD I am taking this Bible Study!! (As a side note that made me chuckle--I did visit my podiatrist today for a routine visit!! So I guess maybe I'm getting ready for my toes to be stepped on!! LOL!!)

Although yes we do tend to temper our words more with people outside of our families, sometimes those who are close to us can be hit with those unkind words.
This video was good for me because even though I try to speak nicely to everyone my temper can and often does get in the way and I don't KEEP IT SHUT, I need to learn how to do this.
Thank you for this. -
What a video!!!! A real eye-opener! I'm so guilty of being kinder to strangers than those closet to me. It is easier to say "I'm Sorry" to my husband than a stranger. I really need to be more careful and think before I speak, especially when I'm a little ticked off. I look forward to each new day of this study and what I can learn. Thank You Karen and Proverbs 31.

What an inspiration Karen is. I am very guilty of being nice to strangers but not so nice with my family. I say things without thinking and the I am sorry. I amj going to love this study because I really need it. Thank you Karen Ehman for writing this Bible Study.

This was very enlightening. It shows that if we just think before we speak a lot less spillage will come out of our mouths. The example that Karen shared about how in grade school she shared information that potentially damaged others, she was then put in isolation from the group that she really wanted to be a part of. It shows that the consequences of what we say cannot only be detrimental to others but to ourselves as well. This was key information and the example was really on point. Thank you.
