If you can't understand this version then why buy it/keep it?

The font was done in an effort to imitate Hebrew lettering. the name of the font is Gothic black print. William Tyndale used that fought when he translated the drake in the Hebrew into English. The spellings & letters are done because there's a numeric value to each letter. I could go on, but I'm not sure your interested.

I have a 1611 and I read it just fine. Word of caution if u a zondervon throw it away. zondervon is owned by Harper collins and Harper Collins publishes the niv (Roman Catholic perversion and removes verses) and the satanic Bible so when u buy a zondervon ur money is going to those people
-
some of those bible you have are satanic! and the walmart bible does not have the apocrypha that came with the 1611 kjv! we not suppose to add or take away according to revelation 22. and that niv is surely satanic.

Seems like if you were interested enough to compile a library you would have done a lil reading :) God Bless...
The 1611 King James Bible was writen more than four hundred years ago when the English language was different. The original 1611 A.D. text, written in Early Modern English, shows the language in closer association with its Latin roots. Spelling was in Jacobean style which was not entirely standardized, but could be read phonetically. The original typeface was in Gothic style. Although both the typestyle and the older language of the 1611 version may be considered difficult to read by some 21st Century English readers, the translators produced an accurate translation known for its beauty, cadence, and poetic feel. -
"Each of these have their own special features??" THROW IT AWAY!!! THE VATICAN STUCK IT NOSE IN IT ALREADY!!!!

I find it funny that you say the language of the 1611 first edition KJV is pre-Shakespearean, because most of what Shakespeare wrote was done in the few decades before the KJV came out. More than anything it seems that Shakespeare is much easier to read because he's been reprinted in a print type that people are used to. Heh, even the Wycliffe's medieval English Bible with its wildly different language ("together"="togidir") is fairly understandable as long as it's in modern print.
But being able to read 16-century type is a cool skill, so I would encourage you to persist with the typeface if you have the chance! Check it against a modern typeset version of the KJV, and with a bit of practice, you'll be surprised how quickly you can go from recognising nothing to reading it all straight off the page. -
I said "upon research of the KJV REPLICA". Also, the apocryphal books was part of the 1611 KJV. Even if they were placed between the Old and New Testaments, they were still there.

King Iames was an Israelite who despised the Catholic Church.

want to buy bible for cheaper prize and has all the translations and versions go to. christianbookstore.

This guy is so slow it is very frustrating to follow. I could have dinner and a show by the time this retard finishes his demonstration. Never did find out who the publisher was. Big waste of time.
-
One true bible and 3+ corrupt bibles And you can't read the true bible due to the gothic font. Oxford has the roman font witch is easier to read. Beware of the corrupt bibles. Look up KJV777 vs NIV666.

I have this version and the replica,I find it lovely to read.Yes it can be hard to read but its like learning a new language.
-
I have a section with all religions, do you have a list whit all sacred books?
-
@tqpix Yeah, things like the Zondervan logo on the spine, the 2011 copyright on the first page, the "400 Anniversary Edition" printed on the front cover, and the fact that it's mass produced and sold cheap at Walmart are other indications it's not a real replica. It's a nice display piece though. It's not my main Bible since I can't read a word in it lol...

Upon research of that KJV replica you own, I now know why it only cost you $4.97. That particular "replica" does not have the apocryphal books, so it is NOT a true replica.

Great vid. I found it funny that you were confused when looking through the 1611 KJV. I was just like you when I looked through my 1611 KJV replica the first few times. However, I got somewhat used to it when I researched the English language as it appeared during the time of the KJV translators.
