Question for Christians:
So conviction of sin seems to be a large pillar of the Christian faith. Christians are supposed to feel convicted of their wrongdoings and then ask for forgiveness from God. How am I supposed to feel convicted of sin and ask for forgiveness if God was the one that technically "made" sin? Now I know a lot of people will argue he didn't "make" it, but when it comes down to it he is supposedly all-powerful and all-knowing so at best he allowed it, but ultimately had to have created it. -
I have been consistently disappointed with the response to questions centering on the issue of headship as it relates to misperceptions of "male superiority." Why is it that teachers such as Ravi Zacharias (who I respect greatly) cannot bring themselves exegete Genesis, and the account of the fall in their replies. What proceeds forth from legitimate, but incomplete answers (here around the 1:36:19 mark) is continued confusion surrounding the true nature of humanity, be it pre-fall, post-fall, or in anticipation of the resurrection. I am certain that this has been accomplished by someone... guess I just haven't come across it yet. Please, step up to the plate... we're hurting out here.

This is Ravi at the top of his game. I wrote down several things that he has said, including one I've heard before, but keep forgetting how he states it. He is still so powerful. He truly wants to impress God's Love upon the youth of the world. I am also becoming a fan of Abdu Murray. He is very relatable, real, and thinks amazingly well on his feet. I can see why he is a part of RZIM.

Preacher. You speak to me with honeyed words, but I have come prepared. I see through your velvet lies, the sermons that you share.
The doctrine that you claim is true seems so silly to me. It's full of holes of plot, of logical fallacies.
The retoric that you spew, though actually quite profound, falls short when compared to the fictions, I have found.
The message you convey is muddled in your strictures. If you wanted me to believe in God, then perhaps you should've brought pictures.
But, alas, that doesn't matter. The only thing they hear is your unwavering confidence. You say exactly what you need, to lend your tenants credence.
)Honestly, guys. Just because it sounds nice doesn't make it true. Guy's a poet. No doubt. but he's wrong. -
We are definitely in the end times, go to Jesus Christ right now and you will be saved

" ... to sum it up in a single sentence: He who claims to be both Son of God and savior and judge of humankind now stands before offering, if only we come to him, fulfillment, freedom and rest. Such an invitation from such a person cannot lightly dismissed. He waits patiently for our response. RSVP! "

"Why did God put the tree in the garden in the first place? He knew what decision Adam & Eve would make. So why even put the tree there to begin with? Makes it seem like we are one big social experiment" This was a great question. Abdu Murray gave the answers that most teachers give. But please Mr Murray could you help me understand with my questions too?
1) Both Adam & Eve had no knowledge of either good or evil. If they did where does it say it in scripture? The scriptures also teach that it is God who created evil. For what purpose did God create evil? Isaiah 45:7
2) Why in an environment that is "perfect" or so I was taught is there a tree that is both good & evil? Why is there a beast that is more subtle ( crafty ) then all the beasts that the Lord made? And why is this the first time the word serpent is used Gen 3:1
3) Why did Eve sin? Did she know she was sinning?
4 ) What did they fall from? What does "the fall of man mean"?
5) The name "Adam" is mentioned 9x in the NT. This certainly confirms how Adam was made. In particular 1Cor 15:45 "And so IT IS WRITTEN ( Genesis 2:7 ), The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit" So the first man Adam was made a living soul.
Genesis 2:7 "And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul"
6) 1 Cor 15:47 'The first man ( Adam) is of the earth, earthly: the second man(Jesus Christ) is the Lord from Heaven" This tells me that the first man is mortal and the second immortal.
7) So did Eve sin simply because she and Adam were mortal beings? I say yes.
8) My last but important question. If they had the choice and the free will to not sin. Then why did they? Why was the will of man stronger and more powerful then the will of God?
Did there will trump over God's will? -
