David Cook gave this talk, "Invitation to the Banquet", on a passage from Luke's gospel - chapter 14, verses 15 to 23, the parable of the Great Banquet - on 2nd March, 2010; to the Tuesday-lunchtime congregation at St Helen's Church, Bishopsgate, London. When he gave this talk David was the Principal of Sydney Missionary and Bible College. Since then he has retired, and now (2012) he divides his time between working as a part-time pastoral assistant at the Chinese Presbyterian Church in Surry Hills, Sydney, and an itinerant preaching ministry.
