Im rather puzzled a woman of such wit and intellect, fails to see in a Scottish view or emphatise with Scotland.

She read from the bible.. and it sounds a lot like a book...

She will always be honored for the strength of her convictions and the leadership that she brought to her country and the world at large. Her philosophical views truly helped to save the United Kingdom from backward socialist policies. Her legacy needs to be safeguarded from those revisionists who seek to distort her record. Thank you for providing this very eloquent speech.

A wonderful speech

She is that miraculous mixture of features in a human being we see maybe every century...as for me - I believe that she was unique!

I though the most stirring moment of Thatcher's funeral was the singing of 'I Vow To Thee My Country', and precisely because of the memories of this speech is evoked. For me, it was her finest hour and I only wish we had politicians of such bold and blatant conviction today!

Beautifully written, well-measured speech.

Such a wonderful and wise woman. Thank you Lady Thatcher.

not to mention the fact that anyone at all can go to a religious group and lecture them on morality. only she could do this..... only she would try.

Impressive, whether one agrees with her politics or not. Such wit from a politician is most rare. Such logic & intelligence more rare still.
