Jesus speaks of a reward that is based on our secret behaviors. What is this reward? It cannot be salvation, for Salvation is by grace and not works. Many other Bible verses speak of rewards for good works. What do they say and how do they apply?

Jesus said he didn't come to abolish and that is not what he did. Jesus fulfilled ALL of the Law. The Law is still relevant and good. (Romans 7) It's sole purpose was to be a tutor that points to Jesus. For somebody to have faith in Christ, they must understand their sin, and that is brought to light in the Law.
Nope, the reward is Salvation. "Easy Beliveism" and "instant salvation by vain words" is not what Jesus preached, friend. Less Luther and More Jesus would do your church good. Mark 10:17-19.
