Mortan SIN? SIN is SIN! No such thing as mortal or venal or even anal! The Holy Bible explains SIN as Disobedience of GOD's Will😲
-
omgosh I've committed so many mortal sins in my past. still trying to recall all for confession. God save us.

Mortal sins (Latin: peccata mortalia) in Catholic theology are wrongful acts that condemn a person to Hell after death if unforgiven.
These sins are considered "mortal" because they constitute a rupture in a person's link to God's saving grace: the person's soul becomes "dead", not merely weakened.
A mortal sin is not necessarily a sin that cannot be repented, unlike an eternal sin.
Thus, even after a mortal sin has been committed, there is a chance for repentance.
According to Catholic teaching, repentance and a firm resolution to sin no more (with at least imperfect contrition) restores the link to God's saving grace in the sacrament of penance; and restoration outside confession if the contrition is perfect.
Perfect contrition arises from a love of God, who has been grievously offended by a sinful act.
When perfect contrition is the means by which one seeks to restore one's relationship with God, there must also be a resolution to confess mortal sins in confession (if possible), as soon as possible.
The verse from which the term "mortal" sin is derived likely comes from the 1 John 5:16-17. -
"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God." - Matthew 5, 8

The human will is binary: yes or no. This was explained by God the Father as told to Saint Catherine of Siena, whom this good priest quoted, in her book titled "Dialogues."

good priest every priest needs to preach this sermon several times a year, especiLly spring, summer, and to grade school, high school, college and adults. why arnt priests doing this??
-
I am having trouble with the : It is only a mortal sin if you know that it is a mortal sin. That doesn't seem fair.
-
There is no need to show all these immodest images! Also Benedict xvi, john paul ii and paul vi were antipopes!
-
REPOST THIS AUDIO WITH MODEST PICTURES! Here he is talking about modesty, yet you're posting IMMODEST pictures. It's not acceptable.

Really it's a Sin to watch TV? That's where we can access all those crazy ideas, about fornication, disobedience, rebellion, pride, envy, idolatry,
Indifference, rivalries, acts of violence and self love. Most folks would spend 3 to 4 hours watching TV every night? Just think if they spent only
half that time praying on their knees every night, it may ignite a revival! -
Too echoey in this video though. Difficult to understand the commentators words. It's good to know what he's saying though, very insightful.

Wonderful sermon to put up, but I have to criticize one major flaw. Some of the images you used are exactly what the sermon is saying we need to avoid looking at. How dreadfully ironic to find immodest imagery in a sermon exhorting us to chastity. This world doesn't understand modesty or fallen human nature. Keep in mind what the church teaches us about what exactly is modest and what isn't - no tight clothing and no flesh revealed is a good summary. Also, no images or words which suggest impurity. That includes images of people kissing. If you see people kissing you must look away. In a Christian society this is not done in public, at least not "french kissing". Sure if a husband and wife were saying goodbye and gave one another a hug and a kiss - a kiss which was modest and chaste, that would surely be normal and acceptable. But impure kissing is mortally sinful, and seeing it can be a temptation which leads to sin.
Please change the images accompanying this recording.
Thankyou, and may Jesus and Mary be with you. -
Great video. If it were Pope Alexander VIDEO saying those things, then that would be ironic. Thank God he repented before death.

Best video I have ever seen.
-
Thank God for this video! Just what I was looking for! Thank you and God bless you Video Sancto!

Dating without the intention is a sin?? Doesn't that seem a bit extreme? This whole video is a bit extreme. Passionate kissing? Really?
