Jesus is the head and the members of his church are the body or the body of Christ. The one true church of Jesus can be found in the holy scriptures in Acts 20:28. Remember the Bible is written in mystery. The KJV says Church of God but we know and understand that it is really Church of Christ. Why you ask because God never went to the cross for us Jesus did God never shed blood Jesus did. God was never raised from the dead Jesus was. Jesus purchased his church with his own blood not God.
