Can you show me where Billy Sunday preached a false works based gospel as I'm honestly not aware of this.
Whenever Jesus taught about eternal judgement He said that they were judged by their works not by their lack of faith. A person who believes will do good works and obey the commands of Scripture. Belief and obedience are interconnected, one cant be present without the other. " Faith without works is dead" This is easy believism, Jesus said that unless you repent ( change your mind "You will perish" Those who are truly "Born Again" will to good works and obey the commands of the Word of God . Self motivated works won't save you, but faith will be manifested by the fruit of the Spirit in a true believer. If The Spirit of Jesus dwells in you then His Spirit will resurrect you.Romans 8 , Simon the sorcerer in the Book of Acts believed in the word preached, was baptized yet his heart was not right with God. What is it about you guys? You recognize the heretical nature of Lordship Salvationist heretics, BUT THEN you go to another heretic Steven Anderson!?! The funny thing here is that Steven Anderson is no different than these Lordship Salvation heretics, he just has a slightly different collection of verses than these imbeciles.

The problem in modern Christendom is that there is a lack of people who rightly divide the King James Bible. Steven Anderson does not do this. Therefore, he is just as dangerous as any Lordship Salvationist.
At 9:02, Anderson says "the only thing that needs to change about you in order for you to get saved is your belief."
Can you show me a single place in scripture where salvation was given to an impenitent sinner? (and no, this is not saying that justification follows sanctification, see my longer response below)

Furthermore, Anderson must define what he means by "believing on Christ," because even the demons believe that and are not saved. Salvation isn't the result of simply agreeing with certain facts about God.
At about 6:16, Anderson asks: "Show me in the Bible where you have to 'repent of your sins in order to be saved'"

Repentance in men is an act that the Holy Spirit works in us resulting in actions that flow out of us – repentance not only follows faith as a constant and consistent lifestyle of the believer, but it is simultaneously born out of faith: one cannot truly believe unless he repents, and one cannot truly repent unless he believes... Repentance (μετανοεω - metanoeo) literally means to change one’s mind.

But since God commands us to repent, what is it that we must change our mind about?

It is that legitimate change in one’s mind and attitude about who God is, what He loves (righteousness), and what He hates (sin) that results in a change of actions about those things that results in a turning away from sin and wicked works (Ezekiel 14:6, 1 John 3:9-10), and a turning towards God in full submission (Luke 3:8-14, Acts 3:19, 26:20).

It is impossible to truly and fully change your mind about Jesus without that causing a change in action (Romans 6:1-2), that is why John the Baptist called people to “produce fruit in keeping with repentance” (Matthew 3:8). A person who has truly repented from his rejection of Christ and turned to faith in Christ will give outward evidence of a changed life by bearing fruit (2 Corinthians 5:17, Galatians 5:19-23, James 2:14-26).

Repentance, properly defined, is necessary for salvation; changing your mind about Jesus and turning to God in faith for salvation (Acts 3:19) that results in humility and holiness in the believer’s life. While our salvation is certainly not dependent upon the degree of our sanctification, what separates a saved man from an unsaved man is the fact that he is indeed being sanctified – this cannot help but produce penitence in the believer, and this is what James was speaking about in James 2.

If your faith hasn’t changed you, then it hasn’t saved you (Psalm 101:7, 1 John 3:4-6).
Being born again of spirit isn't as easy as confessing belief with our lips. Jesus also said that "Not everyone who says to me Lord, Lord, shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but those who do the will of my Father which is in heaven."
The will of God includes a lot more than simply believing that Jesus was the son of God. God brings life and good order upon this earth. To do the will of God, we must forsake our very LOVE of sin. Not to say that we can ever stop sinning, but that we will love God in his holiness above all things and at all times, and that we will confess that we have sinned, and ask for forgiveness, ask for guidance, ask to be filled with the divine wisdom and holy spirit that Christ embodies.
Jesus gave a moral teaching, let's remember that. And his teaching was not simply to bring peace to the earth or to bring civility to humanity. His teaching was to show us how to have favor in the sight of God. In order to have favor with God, we must live a holy life, but it can only come as a natural fruit of genuine faith and love for God. Trying to be holy outwardly while remaining a lover of sin within, that is the leaven of the pharisees, hypocrisy. Whoever has ears, let him hear. Amen.

Jeff Utzler, if your gospel did not deal with the issue of your sin, you should consider the possibility that you have not entered at the strait gate. I say possibility, because I have seen promising fruits in your life. But you quickly fell into damnable heresy, which leads me to think you just might be damned.

Repentance and change your mind are had to be a Christian concept. but let's talk about validating this monotheistic belief. The role of Yahweh within Israelite religion was an important area of inquiry within biblical studies throughout most of the twentieth century. During this century, the understanding of Yahweh has been shaped strongly by the study of Canaanite deities. The title of a significant work in the field of Israelite religion, W. F. Albright’s Yahweh and the Gods of Canaan, echoed in the subtitle of this present work, reflects the central place that various “Canaanite” deities have long held in the discussion of Israelite monotheism, which may be defined as the worship and belief in Yahweh and disbelief in the reality of other deities.

I provide an example of the Ugaritic Texts concerning Canaanite Deities and Biblical Characters, Aqhat (KTU 1.17–1.19), the story opens with the patriarch and hero Danil (cf. The study of Canaanite deities in connection with Yahweh was inspired largely by the discovery of numerous ancient texts in the Levant, especially the many Ugaritic tablets discovered since 1929 at Ras Shamra on the coast of Syria. The Ugaritic texts, dating to the second half of the second millennium B.C., have provided extensive information about
the religion of the Canaanites, the neighbors of Israel whom legal and prophetic texts in the Bible roundly condemn. Thanks to the Ugaritic texts, scholars finally have a native Canaanite source to help reconstruct the relationship between Canaanite and Israelite religion. The Ugaritic texts largely feature the deities El, the aged and kindly patriarch of the pantheon; his consort and queen mother of the divine family, Asherah; the young storm-god and divine warrior, Baal; his sister, Anat, likewise a martial deity; and finally, the solar deity.

Scholars of religion have frequently assumed that because these deities were Canaanite, they were not Israelite. According to this view, Israel had always been essentially monolatrous; Israel worshiped only Yahweh, although it did not deny the existence of other deities. While Israel could tolerate other peoples’ worship of their deities, Yahweh was ultimately the most powerful deity in the cosmos. Accordingly, Exodus 15:11 asks, “Who is like you among the gods, O Yahweh?” It was Israel’s
monolatry that led to the monotheism just before and during the Exile (587-539), when Israel explicitly denied the power of all other deities. Whatever influence other deities manifested in ancient, monolatrous Israel, are considered syncretistic, peripheral, ephemeral, or part of Israel’s religion. Israel polytheistic in ancient times also was essentially monolatrous despite the threat other deities presented.

My fear in preaching this doctrine is that it suggests antinomianism. It's basically saying, all you murderers, drunks, and thieves out there may continue in sin and still go to heaven. At the same time, we know salvation is a free gift that cannot be earned, so where do you draw the line? How do you make it seem 'nomian?' I guess since faith WITHOUT works is dead, that's how.
