She uses an analogy of the electrical appliances we use in our lives which have conduits from the source of electrical power to the operation of the appliance. Faith and love are like the electrical cables that provide a necessary connection to power to make the appliance operate. Only the power to which Karen refers is not electricity but the power of God within. In addition, this sermon uses examples from the life and healing of Jesus.
