That our faith is proven by our good works. If there were no faith, then there would be no works. In other words, we do good works because we are saved... Not in order to be saved.Good works are the evidence of true saving faith

a DOG is man's best friend using the word dog to describe street gangsters is a grave sin !

Amen brother, having faith and trust in the fact that Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose on the third day and that what He did alone is sufficient for my salvation. Having paid all my sins once for all.

Just in case anyone is confused as to what Wilkerson believes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aa_KKUj9w90

I can do nothing without Jesus. My works are worthless to me. the only works that matter are Jesus using you to the glory of God.
-
This man was a spiritual father to many who did not want compromise .complacency and comfort to hinder their sanctification .Thank God for what he gave to Dave and his brave proclamation of the gospel .
-
but if we don't change our lives after we're saved. Turn from sin and "show evidence" doesn't that mean we never had faith at all?
-
I believe it is in 2 thess. faith comes grace comes holy works. works is by your own will. holy works by God's will. holy works is your evidence of your professing of your faith. everyone preaches you cannot go to heaven by works alone. but by faith alone you cannot either. that is lip service or if you can then so can the devils like lucifer as he even believes. no. by faith comes grace comes holy works. repenting means to give over to God to do his work. by saying faith alone and preaching that, you may as well say you do not do his work as believing in his son is enough. get it right. works alone? no. faith alone? no. both. holy works provides good evidence of your faith. note I say holy works. not works of Man. that is what should be preached. now if you know a sin and commit that sin it is harder to forgive than if you didn't know it is a sin. your told to pray that you be counted as worthy. those who say they are saved or another is saved. who made you judge? the son judges by the command of God. we pray we are counted worthy means we don't know if we are saved. we pray we are counted worthy to be saved. Hence we cannot just say who is or isn't. we should preach from faith comes grace comes holy works. the missing word is holy. HOLY. That's H. O. L. Y. works. to be born again is to do the will of God and HIS works. so many miss this. they claim they are saved. How? do they know their name is in the book of life? before the rest of us? no. they don't know nor do we. we hope we are that's all we can say. That's humility and being humble. it is the fear of God that we may not be as we don't know and so it pushes people and makes them try harder to please him and to be counted worthy.

lovingboye1 please explain these verses please because you are using the Law. Galatians 3:11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.
Galatians 3:22 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.
Romans 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
Romans 3:22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
Romans 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
Galatians 3:24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
Philippians 3:9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
PAY ATTENTION WHERE IT SAYS (BUT NOW!!!)
You are deceived yourself go to the scripturesalonebibleschool.net Salvation is found in (Romans 1-4) Romans3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. 21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; 22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; 26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. -
The irony - this video is preaching another gospel. People like to edit the bible and take scriptures out of context to support their false beliefs.
The doctrine of the world is the Antichrist doctrine. Jesus is not God and Paul was not suggesting to put confidence in the cross. This is straight idolatry. Jesus died because of the love that was in him. God brought him back to life because Jesus was full of love and died in the name of love. Those who follow after Jesus life and live with love in their hearts are set free from sin. People sin because of the selfishness and evil desires of their flesh. Those who understand and are full of love do not have selfishness and evil desires in them therefore they do not continue in sin. When you stop sinning God will forgive you of your past sins.
Ezekiel 18:21“But if a wicked person turns away from all the sins they have committed and keeps all my decrees and does what is just and right, that person will surely live; they will not die. 22None of the offenses they have committed will be remembered against them. Because of the righteous things they have done, they will live.
If you are going to be bold enough to make a video you should make sure you speak the truth or those who know it will rebuke you openly. If you read the very next verse in Ephesians what does it say?
Ephesians 2: 10For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus TO DO GOOD WORKS, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
It clearly said we are created in Christ Jesus - meaning we are born again with a new spirit because of our faith in the gospel about Jesus Christ resurrection being fully persuaded that his teachings and way of life is the way to please God and receive salvation. This Spirit is the Spirit of love that we walk and live by because we believe this is the way to salvation and the MAN Jesus Christ is proof of it. We don't live by laws because we don't need them. Those who have the Spirit of love in them already have self-control, compassion, consideration, love, etc. in them so they won't go on sinning and offending others because they know to treat others as themselves as Jesus taught. It is the love that compels us and we know this is the source of our behavior. The love that God has placed in us. Therefore we don't boast that we are good on our own or confident in our own flesh but we boast that we have been filled with the Holy Spirit - Spirit of love that we received from God and this is how and why we walk in righteousness. -
Why do so many argue faith + works vs faith alone? With all due respect, this is a monumentally stupid argument. It is common sense to try to be good. It makes no difference if behavior leads to salvation or not, to be on your best behavior to the best of your ability is the right thing to do regardless of what you believe. Would you teach your child that it's OK to continue being bad as long as they believe in Jesus? I sure hope not. Alternatively, would you teach your child that they were going to fail God if they never stopped making mistakes? I sure hope not. The scriptures are being twisted mercilessly by people who try to understand by the letter as opposed to the spirit.

Bottom line: God do not like laziness & you better Work. Jesus went through all those pains on the cross & that's his work. He could have only Faith in the Father but that ain't gonna cut it pal.
I have been a skeptic of this Vigilant christian channel & you actually promoted this Doctrine here. We work & we give the grace to God. Only fools will boast... -
Brothers and sisters, do NOT misunderstand David Wilkerson.
Jesus commands us to do 3 things to be saved.
1) Repent, or turn away from sin (Ezekiel 18, Matthew 3:2, Matthew 4:17, Mark 1:15, Matthew 19:16-22).
2) Baptize with water for the remission of sins (Matthew 3:6, Acts 2:38, 1 Corinthians 12:13, Galatians 3:27, 1 Peter 3:21).
3) Teach others the Laws of God and His Way (Matthew 28:19, Mark 16:15, Matthew 5:18-19, Luke 16:16-18, Matthew 25:14-30).
There is a FALSE doctrine or teaching in the modern "church"; which claims that a person can be sinful and yet be saved.
The FALSE doctrine of justification was promoted by a 16th century APOSTATE and DEVIANT named Martin Luther. This FALSE doctrine only serves to encourage people to continue is sin.
Now, compare the FALSE doctrine of Martin Luther to the words of Jesus Christ:
Jesus said, “If you love me, keep my commands.” (John 14:23)
Jesus said, 15 “If you love me, keep my commands. 16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth.” (John 14:15)
Jesus said, 10 If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. (John 15:10)
Jesus said, 40 A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone who is perfectly trained will be like his teacher. (Luke 6:40)
Jesus said, 21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’” (Matthew 7:21-23)
His apostle John, wrote, 4 Whoever says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person. (1 John 2:4) -
'... as we forgive those who trespass against us..' And THAT is not work?? No forgiveness without forgiving, seems clear to me.

God's Plan of Salvation in Blood, Water, and Spirit:
The Bible does speak of salvation by grace through faith, and believing & confessing that Jesus died for us, was buried, and raised from the dead, as you have mentioned. But there are some things that you left out. All of these things are needed, but that's only part of it. In Acts 2, on the day of Pentecost, after the Holy Ghost was poured out and the people in Jerusalem wondered what was happening, and some mocking them and making fun of them, saying they were drunk with new wine, Peter explained to them what was happening, explaining the prophecies, and preaching Jesus, saying that God had made this same Jesus, whom they have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
Then they believed the word, and was convicted in their hearts, and asked Peter and the other apostles what they should do. Then Peter said, "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call." Acts 2;38 & 39.
Some exclude baptism, and today, even repentance is being excluded from salvation by some churches. And now they want to take Jesus Himself out of it and anything that's specific to bring all religions and beliefs together into one common religion and belief. This is the one world religion that will be a part of the new world order that the Bible warned us about that will be controlled by the beast and the false prophet.
But the reason baptism, and sometimes even repentance, is taught as not being needed to be saved, is because they reason that since we are saved by grace through faith, and not by works, then we are saved apart from repentance or baptism. This is a misconception.
Acts 2;38 tells us we must repent, be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, and if we do, we shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
When the Bible says we are not saved by works, it means the works of the Old Testament law, and sacrifices, and trying to do good deeds to earn our salvation. James 2;20, says, "But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?" And Acts 5;32, says, "And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him." So it's not just believe and do nothing, it's obedience by faith. And so there is a right way and a wrong way to view works and faith.
The Biblical Meaning of Believing:
To believe in God doesn't just mean to believe He exists. It means to believe in Him, to believe in who He is, what He stands for and stands against, His cause, purpose, vision, and mission, and what He says --- His word.
The biblical meaning of saving faith isn't just mentally believing and confessing Christ. This is only part of it, the first step. There is more to being born again than just that. There are steps we must take as a believer to be born again. Salvation is a process.
Repentance, Baptism, and The Gift of The Holy Ghost:
In Mark 1;15, Jesus says, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel."
In Mark 16;16, He says, " He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned."
And in John 7;37 & 38, Jesus says, "If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water." And in verse 39, John explained that Jesus was speaking of the Holy Ghost. So to believe the way the Bible says to believe, to believe as the scripture has said to believe, means not only to mentally believe that God exists, and that Jesus died for us and confessing Jesus as Lord and Savior, but it means we will back up that faith by following and obeying His word through faith in Him by repenting, being baptized, and receiving the Holy Ghost. These are all tied-in together with believing, and none of these can be taken out.
Mark 1;4 refers to baptism as "the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins". Repentance and baptism both work together for forgiveness and washing away of sins. In Acts 22;16, Ananias told Paul, "And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord."
Repentance and baptism aren't contrary to grace, they are given by the grace of God for forgiveness and cleansing of sins. These, along with the gift of the Holy Ghost, is God's grace and salvation working in us unto eternal life. But if we reject repentance or baptism, then we are not allowing God's grace an salvation to work in us, but rejecting it, and sin works in us unto death.
So baptism isn't just symbolic, or something we can choose to either do or not do if we decide. It is a commandment of God. We must be baptized as part of salvation, to have our sins washed away, if not, our sins won't be washed away.
There are other reasons for baptism, too. The Bible speaks of those who are called by His name, and those who are "in Christ". This is done by being baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. We take on the Lord's name in baptism in His name, just like a bride takes on her grooms name in marriage. And the scripture is fulfilled in us which says that we are called by His name. And Galatians 3;27, says, "For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ." We enter into Christ by being baptized in His name, we are "in Christ".
Also, Romans 6;3, says, "Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?" Baptism in the name of Jesus is how we are buried with Christ. We must partake of the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. This is done by repenting (being crucified with Christ), being baptized (buried with Christ), and receiving the Holy Ghost (resurrected with Christ). All of this is fulfilled by following the message of Acts 2;38. That's how we are crucified, buried, and resurrected with Christ. And how we apply the gospel to our life.
We Must Be Born Again:
In John 3;3, Jesus says we must be born again to see the kingdom of God. Then in verse 5, He says how we are born again, and says we must be born of water and the Spirit both to enter into the kingdom of God.
Jesus didn't mention repentance, but we must believe and repent before we can be baptized or receive the Holy Ghost. So this tells us that even if we believe and repent, we're still not born again yet until we've also been baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost. We must also be born of water and the Spirit to be born again and enter into the kingdom of God. It takes all three, repentance, baptism, and the gift of the Holy Ghost. Obeying the message of Acts 2;38 fulfills all of these. That is how we are born again and saved.
Blood, Water, and Spirit - Three Witnesses In Earth:
John 3;5 mentions water and Spirit. 1 John 5;8, says, "And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one."
The blood of Christ is applied by repentance, water is applied by baptism, and the Spirit is applied by receiving the Holy Ghost. According to 1 John 5;8, the blood, water, and Spirit all three bear witness together. So we must repent, be baptized, and receive Holy Ghost, all three, to have all three witnesses applied to our life.
But what does the blood, water, and Spirit bear witness to?
Verses 10 & 11, says, “He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself; he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son. And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.”
So when we repent, are baptized, and receive the Holy Ghost, then the blood, water, and Spirit is applied to our life, and they bear witness together in us that we have believed, and because we believed, God has given to us eternal life, and this life is in his son, Jesus Christ.
God shows His plan of salvation in blood, water, and Spirit throughout the Old Testament and in Revelation in Symbols, Types, and Metaphors. Teaching us how absolutely important it is for us to repent, and be baptized, and receive the Holy Ghost. This is the plan of salvation that God has established and ordained.
In The Story of Exodus:
In the story of Exodus, blood was applied to the door posts on each side and on top. This is a picture of the cross of Jesus, where the blood is at. We go to the cross in repentance. So that's where the blood is applied in our life.
Then the people of Israel was led through the Red Sea by Moses, where Pharaoh and his army was drowned and swept away by the water when they tried to pass through to go after the Israelites. This is a picture of baptism, where our sins are washed away, just like the Egyptians were washed away by the waters of the Red Sea.
And the rock that was broken by Moses that the water poured out from. The rock was a picture of Jesus who was broken, crucified, and the water was the Holy Ghost that was poured out from Him.
The Tabernacle:
There's the altar where the sacrifices are made, and blood is shed at. This again is a picture of the sacrifice of Jesus, and of His blood being shed. And again where we go to in repentance, and where the blood is applied to our life.
Then there's the laver of washing, which is a picture of baptism, where our sins are washed away.
And there's the Holy Place with the golden lamp filled with oil that burned, which is a picture of the Holy Ghost. And there's also the showbread, which is the word of God, and the incense, which is prayer and worship. Then there's the Holy of Holies, that only the High Priest went into once a year, which is a picture of Jesus who went into heaven before us.
The Earth:
In the Bible, God even uses the earth itself as an example of being born again by blood, water, and fire (Spirit).
In the story of Noah, the entire earth was flooded with water. The earth itself was literally baptized, being covered in water. This is where water is applied to the earth.
In Revelation 14;20, "And the winepress was trampled outside the city, and blood came out of the winepress, up to the horses’ bridles, for one thousand six hundred furlongs." This is where blood is applied to the earth.
And 2 Peter 3;10 - 13, says,
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.11 Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, 12 looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? 13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.
Revelation 21;21, "Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away."
Both the earth and heaven that exists now will be burned up, and there will be a new earth and a new heaven. The fire here represents the fire of the Holy Spirit for us in the new birth. In Matthew 3;11, John the baptist says, "I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.”
And the earth doesn't become a new earth until all three elements are fulfilled in it, blood, water, and fire.
2 Corinthians 5;17 says, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new."
This is a well known verse, but many professing Christians misunderstand the new birth, and misapply this verse. We are born again by following the message of Acts 2;38. And just like the earth doesn't become a new earth, a new creation, until all three elements are fulfilled in it, we also aren't born again and become a new creation in Christ until we have all three elements fulfilled in us, blood, water, and Spirit.
So God shows us all through the Bible how His plan of salvation is made up of the three elements of blood, water, and Spirit. And these are applied to our life by repentance, baptism, and the gift of the Holy Ghost.

How can a restriction or regulation regarding the fun stuff of this life be called Holiness if it transgress ROMANS 13:10: Love does no harm to it's neighbor, therefore love is the fulfilment of the law? The answer: It is a fake form of man made Holiness, since it clearly breaks ROMANS 13:10, since any command or regulation must be un-holiness if it conflicts with the command: You shall love your neighbor as your self. Any so called rule or regulation regarding any thing can be canceled out and shown to be sin if it transgresses ROMANS 13:10, Don't suck the religious sack of propaganda, the commands of God are not difficult to keep. 1 CORINTHANS 10:23:All things are lawful, but not everything is constructive-COLLOSSIANS 2:22, There rules which have to do with the things which expire with use are based on the commands of men, ROMANS 13:10:Love does no harm to it's neighbor, therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. This fake form of Holiness has got to go! It is causing the whole world to turn away from and hate God on false pretences. And will cause the end of the world if some one does not do something about this serious issue. No Vigilant Christian, you will not have a massive move of God, because your fake Holiness transgresses the command: You shall love your neighbor as your self, Since God himself is love according to John, Don't hold your breath, God will not move when his command is transgressed by the traditions of men.

Will someone please explain what Ezekiel Chapter 18 is trying to say verse for verse? Please help I think I'm all confused about and can't seem to understand it.

And what is faith if it cannot prove we know who Christ is by being His followers? does not faith teach us to repent and obey Him?. Faith is a gift (Ephesians 2:8) to grow by and many will suffer a falling away from Truth because they did not know how to build their faith so the devils darts will not lead them astray. The parable of the sower teaches about this...
Luke 8
5 A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it.
6 And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture.
7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it, and choked it.
8 And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
9 And his disciples asked him, saying, What might this parable be?
10 And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.
11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
12 Those by the way side are they that "hear"; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.
13 They on the rock are they, which, when they "hear", receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.
14 And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have "heard", go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.
15 But that on the good ground are they, WHICH IN AN HONEST AND GOOD HEART, HAVING THE WORD, KEEP IT, AND BRING FORTH FRUIT WITH PATIENCE.
16 No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light.
17 For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad.
18 Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.
So who has real faith?
"...they, WHICH IN AN HONEST AND GOOD HEART, HAVING THE WORD, KEEP IT, AND BRING FORTH FRUIT WITH PATIENCE."
Yes, by faith alone... doing the will of The Father.
Dogs in Scripture are prostitutes ...
keleb keh'-leb from an unused root means. to yelp, or else to attack; a dog; hence (by euphemism) a male prostitute:--dog.
1 Corinthians 13
2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
People can't fool GOD. Faith guides you to do good things for others learning how to become better people growing in the faith.
Hebrews 11:6
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
James 2:20
But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
Faith leads to become better people. -
James 2:24-26 Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition (DRA)
24 Do you see that by works a man is justified; and not by faith only?
25 And in like manner also Rahab the harlot, was not she justified by works, receiving the messengers, and sending them out another way?
26 For even as the body without the spirit is dead; so also faith without works is dead. -
If "FAITH ALONE" is all that is needed, then why did St. Paul state in Scripture in Philippians 1:29 below.
Philippians 1:29 For it is your special privilege to take Christ's part - not to ONLY BELIEVE (faith) in Him, BUT also to SUFFER for Him.
St. Paul above states above it is not enough to ONLY BELIEVE in Christ, but we Must SUFFER for Him. St. Pauls teaching is totally different from David Wilkerson.
When One suffers for the Lord in any way it takes WORKS, Therefore St Paul, in Philippians 1:29 above PROVES David Wilkerson Dead WRONG!!! That with Faith Alone, is not ENOUGH.
Please don't argue with me, your Argument is with St. Paul, he said it not me.
Dr. David Wilkerson, Has another you tube video re: When a man of God loses his faith.
Truth is when a man of God loses his faith, it is because he no longer does the WORK!!! Faith alone without Works is DEAD, Sermon in a nutshell, case closed
