In Psalm 91, God promises that we can trust him in times of danger, but there can be great difficulty in understanding and teaching this promise. Pastors must proceed carefully as they expound God’s Word because Satan is strategic in attacking the faith of God’s people. Tim Keller encourages pastors to interpret Scripture with Scripture so that they may understand and communicate God’s Word with faithfulness and accuracy.

That is so true, 20 years ago we lost everything, we started to pray and sing hymns. Later God blessed us.

What an epic comment...
"Yes, I did have a peace when I was younger... It was a stupid peace....
Thank God for His discipline as he destroys our stupid peace and replaces it with peace that passes understanding. -
Thanks for explaining this truth. What is the purpose of suffering? God is always worthy of our praise & trust & there is a purpose.

iv'e worked in care homes and yes the residents are full of anxiety,so they got nothing out of practising a religion all there lives.
-
Anxiety comes from a lack of insight into the way thing's realy are,and insight has nothing to do with religion

Tim is such as gifted speaker for our time. Paul said I am all things to all men that I might save some. This does not mean defy scripture, but Tim has a patience and compassionate way with unbelievers that some people don't get. Some watching may be yelling, "just answer the question, tell them they are going to hell!" When Time is trying to say why the bible states things.
