Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner.

Classical Armenian is not that difficult. Study the liturgy. Best way? Join the choir. You'll learn very quickly what is being said back and before, between altar and congregation.

You're right but so is BeamMeUpSir. Because the response to Armenian attempts to evangelize has been the sword, it has become something of an ethnic church, which is sad.
-
Greek, Georgian, and Armenian liturgical languages long preceded the Latin language and rites.

"A Catholic who becomes Orthodox is always 2nd class" Where did you get that idea? Do you mean this is true for the Armenians or for the Eastern Orthodox Church?
-
The Armenian Church is part of the Oriental Orthodox Church afaik...

try the yr1000! this was the offical yr of seperation between east and west!

Eastern =/= Byzantine. There are certain similarities between Armenian and Roman Traditions (Shape of Miter, use of unleavened bread), possibly there is some Latin influence, but there are many more similarities to the Syriac Tradition, as well as many uniquely Armenian features.

although the fellow you replied to is overwhelmingly wrong, the Armenian church is a faithful one who bonds with its people, they have no need for world dominion and spread of Christianity like the Catholics do, by of course the way your faith recognizes a christian , with a cross on his chest and none the less

But this is the traditional liturgy Armenian, or a western rite? The Armenian Rite I know that is equal to the Byzantine rite, and yet this liturgy seem very Latinized.

The Oriental Orthodox have always taught that our Lord was true man and true God. We did not reject Chalcedon because we denied Christ's humanity. Rather, we rejected Chalcedon because we thought it was semi-Nestorian.

If the Orthodox church splits in 451 because of them not able to accept Jesus as truly God and truly man, do the Orthodox Church now [as in today] believe in Jesus as true God true man?

Hello, Search4. In the Armenian tradition, instead of the screen of the Byzantine or Greek tradition, there are two veils or curtains that are used. One heavier, the other sheer. They are pulled around the altar or across the sanctuary at different point of the Liturgy. I do love the tradition of the iconostatis, and have seen some very beautiful ones.
