Sermon for Sunday, October 19, 2014 This is the fourth sermon preached in English on www.thecloudchurch.org It was preached by Pastor/Missionary Evangelist Robert Breaker, and shows the difference between the Law and Grace, proving that we are not under the law, rather under a time period in history where God saves man by GRACE through FAITH in the gospel (1 Cor. 15:1-4). He went and cut his own throat by reading Romans 7:1Rom 7:1 Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?---How long is? ' as long as you live'.Ecc 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.---Straight road to hell if you think Christ is going to set up a lawless kingdom when he comes back, like this one.

It easy to tell this topic is not understood and the teacher is way off. My next scripture will prove it. I'm sure Paul knew what he was talking about.1Jn 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 1Jn 2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
1Jn 2:5But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.Rev 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.---Obviously this teacher doesn't know what sin is.1Jn 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.---This guy is teaching you to sin. He has no understanding of what he's talking about. The law that's done away with is the law of sacrifice. Of course you will sin. Under Moses you sacrificed animals, under Christ he is that sacrifice. Obviously this guy doesn't read the bible. Just the fluffy bits.Heb 10:12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;---Christ is the sacrifice. You can continue in sin. Ill keep them to the best of my ability. He just like to sin. He doesnt know what sin is. Grace is a period of time to fix up (start keeping the law. get out of sin) before Christ comes back. The deeds of the law are sacrifices. That's what Christ done away with. He is teaching you to live in sin. I will listen to Christ and not a false prophetMat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. Mat 19:16 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
Mat 19:17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.---He's never read these.Rev 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. ---I wont be seeing him in heaven. What he is teaching is blasphemy against the holy spirit. -
great job.... I enjoyed your teaching

I think the problem is what is Grace , and what you're getting Grace from

Someone who is saved by faith in Christ can not be under the Law.. The Law is for those who have fallen short and have not Christ!
If you have a speed limit and you never break it, then you are not subject to that speed limit law but if you break it you are subject to that law if you break that law! As a Christian you can't sin because you are saved by faith in Christ and your sins have been forgiven!
As a Christian we know sin, we are aware of those sins and we repent when we stray.. those under the law don't know sin and don't repent because they are without Christ and are not aware of those sins.. The Law of Moses is a totally different deal! That is for Jews and it is what Jesus took us out from under! -
All of us sinned not the Jews only. Jews just happened to be a chosen nation to take the gospel of hope to the whole world but because of their pride and trying to own God alone, they failed to execute that which God wanted them to do. God did not choose them because they were better than the rest of the world, no ... He could have chose any nation. they just happened by God's grace to be a chosen nation, chosen by God and there is absolutely nothing wrong with God's choice.they were not to own the word of God or His law but to preach and teach it to the whole world that they may know that there is savior who will come and save all of us from the curse of and penalty of sin. the fall of the Jews was that they missed the point of why God made them a chosen nation for such big purpose. the point here is that the Law is for all not for the Jews. when they received the law written on the two table of stones, it was not the first introduction of the Ten Commandments to mankind. if it was so, then explain how and why people were found guilty of sin before the mount Sinai? here are scriptures that prove that there were sinners before the children of Israel got the ten commandments away before mount Sinai:
What was the difference between the characters of Cain and Abel? ….. 1st John 3:12 …..”Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother’s righteous.”….. Now notice that this Bible verse says that the works of Cain were evil, but the works of Abel were righteous. So there must have been a standard by which their characters could be weighed against. This standard must have defined the difference between right and wrong, good and evil. And what standard was that? The law of God. Take a look at these following Bible verses:
Genesis 13:13 …..”The men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the Lord exceedingly.”
2nd Peter 2:7-8 …..”And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked; for that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds.”
Genesis 15:16 …..”But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again; for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full.”
Now how could the men of Sodom be wicked and sinners if there was no law in place? And how could the Amorites be guilty of iniquity if there was no law? And for the most clear cut Bible verse, have another look at 2nd Peter 2:7-8 above. It says that the people of Sodom did UNLAWFUL deeds. Now how can someone be UNlawful where there is no law? There had to have been a law in place for the people to obey, and that law was the Ten Commandments.
Now take a look at this following Bible verse: ….. Genesis 26:5 …..”Because that Abraham obeyed My voice, and kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes and My laws.”….. What did Abraham do (before Sinai)? He KEPT GOD’s COMMANDMENTS!! So how can anyone say the law of God didn’t exist before Sinai, when Abraham KEPT God’s law?
If we belong to Christ Jesus, then who are we? ….. Galatians 3:29 …..”And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” ….. We are Abraham’s seed. And what should we do if we are Abraham’s seed? ….. John 8:39 …..”Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham’s children, ye would do the works of Abraham.” ….. We should do the works of Abraham. What works? Obedience to God. Abraham kept the commandments of God and so should we. -
Now lets look another problem which i got from your study:
Romans 3:23King
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"
this text suggest something which you taught against when you started the lesson on your video. this text suggest that "All have sinned" not some but all. if you say the law was for the Jews only and not for the whole world, are you then saying that when this text says "all have sinned" it is actually referring to the Jews only? because if the law was for them only, then that would mean everyone who is not Jew has not sinned because for a transgression to be there, there first have to be a law. without the law there is no sin and without sin, there is no need for a savior, without a Savior, there is no need for grace. You see I believe this text means what it en tales, All have sinned, meaning all humans. Why do I say this? all people come from Adam and Eve, because of our first parents fell into sin at the garden of Eden way back during the early days of our planet, we also are found guilty of their transgression not because of the Jews. When the Jews were given the Ten commandments by Moses from God, Jews were already sinners. why? because also they where of the house of Adam just as we are throughout the whole world. Romans 5:12-21King
"Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" -
Pardon Me For my long Observances
I love the Word of God
I love the fact that you trying to bring a study relevant for our souls to our attention ... I appreciate your efforts very much and God bless. the subject of the law and grace is interesting, many of us want to know and understand it clearly. However, i struggle to understand or rather, I am made uncomfortable by the fact that when you speak of "the Law" you are not specific but you generalize the subject of the law making it to insinuate that every law in the bible was nailed to the cross. is that true? is that what the Bible is really saying? that leaves me as a student of the bible with many theological problems that have no solution, leaving one drowning in confusion rather than saving one from confusion. the bible says God is not the God of confusion, if He truly is then this subject shouldn't be confusing at all.
Colossians 2:14-17 “Having blotted out the handwriting of the ordinances concerning us, which was contrary to us, he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross: 15 having spoiled governments and powers, he made a show of them openly, having triumphed over them by it. 16 Let no one, therefore, judge you in meat, or in drink [offerings], or in respect of a festival, or of a new moon, or of sabbaths; 17 which are a shadow of the things which were to come, but the substance is of Christ."
this text does not generalize but it is clear and specific as to what laws it is talking about. it refers to the law of what? of "Ordinances". what are "ordinances"? they are ceremonial laws. is this text saying anything about the Ten commandments? no it is not. the Ten commandments consist of no laws that speaks about sacrificial system whatsoever but the ceremonial laws do. I think the word of God is clear and sound, the is no confusion here. God is specific and not generalizing at all here. to be specif as He is specific would be good for us but to generalize the subject if the law spoken of here on this text would be foolish of us. To generalize this text is to speak what the scripture is not saying but using the text to say what you want it to say. that is dangerous!
"Note the Greek word for “ordinances” in Colossians 2:14 is “dogma”, pronounced “dog'-mah” and the Strong's definition is “a law (civil, ceremonial or ecclesiastical): - decree, ordinance.” Strong's states this is a law and that this law is ceremonial which is also called the “Ordinances”, “Book of the Law”, “Mosaic Law” and the “Law of Moses” etc. The Thayer dictionary is more direct and states the “Law of Moses” outright. Thayer Definition: “The rules and requirements of the Law of Moses; carrying a suggestion of severity and of threatened judgment.” As seen earlier, the Law of Moses is not the Ten Commandments, thus everything in Colossians 2:16 is part of the ceremonial law and the sabbath days are of course ceremonial sabbaths (plural) and not the Sabbath of the Lord. See Adam Clarke and Albert Barnes Commentaries. See also Colossians 2:14-16."
the animals that were sacrificed according to the ceremonial laws (Law of ordinances) which the bible is so clear of when it speaks of them, were teaching people about their salvation and where it will come from ... all this was pointing to Jesus Christ the lamb of God who was to come and die for the sins of all mankind not the Jews only. now that the lamb of God came and was slayed at the cross for mankind, there is no need for us to continue keeping the law of ordinances or if you may, the law of sacrifices, for Christ was the ultimate lamb or sacrifice sufficient to pay enough wage for the whole world to appease God's justice of which we owed because of transgressing the Ten commandments of God. For Romans 6:23King James Version (KJV) says
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
Note: the wages of sin is death.
1 John 3:4King
"Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law."
Romans 3:23King
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"
Note: why all of us are sinners. text says "All Have Sinned". this is why we had a debt we could not afford to pay, because of this we were dying. now our death was permanent, we were dying not to come back again but thank God for giving earth His Son to come and pay debt we so deserved and save us from the penalty of braking the ten commandments which is the transcript of the Character of God. Without the Ten Commandments how would I come to know who God is? what does He hate or love? How would i come to know His Kingdom and its governance? How would He have power over me or rule over me without having His law which is His Ten commandments? -
now that we are saved by grace, do we stop to keep the Law? does wrong or right or morals exist today?

First we have to realize what is Grace? It is not unmerited favour , that is Mercy . Grace is Gods empowering presence enabling us to do what HES called us to do, just like Jesus...“And the child grew and became strong; he was filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was on him.”Luke 2:40 NIVWe are called to walk in His Presense, relying on the Holy Spirit to lead us We must die to our SINFUL flesh “In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness. For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.”Romans 6:11-14 NIVWe must enter HIS REST JESUS IS OUR SABBATH REST...WE MUST OBEY HIM, WE DO THIS BY THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRITIt is all EXPLAINED IN ROMANS 8 you MUST TAKE TGE TIME TO READ GODS WORD! “But you are not ruled by your sinful selves. You are ruled by the Spirit, if that Spirit of God really lives in you. But whoever does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to Christ. Your body will always be dead because of sin. But if Christ is in you, then the Spirit gives you life, because Christ made you right with God. God raised Jesus from death. And if God’s Spirit lives in you, he will also give life to your bodies that die. Yes, God is the one who raised Christ from death, and he will raise you to life through his Spirit living in you. So, my brothers and sisters, we must not be ruled by our sinful selves. We must not live the way our sinful selves want. If you use your lives to do what your sinful selves want, you will die spiritually. But if you use the Spirit’s help to stop doing the wrong things you do with your body, you will have true life. The true children of God are those who let God’s Spirit lead them. The Spirit that we received is not a spirit that makes us slaves again and causes us to fear. The Spirit that we have makes us God’s chosen children. And with that Spirit we cry out, “ Abba, Father.” And the Spirit himself speaks to our spirits and makes us sure that we are God’s children. If we are God’s children, we will get the blessings God has for his people. He will give us all that he has given Christ. But we must suffer like Christ suffered. Then we will be able to share his glory.”Romans 8:9-17 ERV“There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his. Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.”Hebrews 4:9-11, 15-16 NIV

the righteous statues of the 10 commandments of God are upheld and repeated in the New Testament . The way we keep the Law has passed away (self-works) . Now under the New Covenant we have passed from self works to faith in Jesus Christ and recieve the Spirit of promise whereby thru the Spirit we do mortify deeds of the flesh and walk after the Spirit
-
So Hebraic ..could you also answer my questions plz ...What do you do with the book of Galations ???? and do you believe in Pentecost and the baptism of the Holy Spirit ???
-
Hebraic The Torah was the ministry of condemnation and death .. The Torah in itself had no power to save anybody..ROMANS 8:…3For what the Law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful man, as an offering for sin. He thus condemned sin in the flesh,
-
The Torah never saved any1 ..The Law was a ministry that brought condemnation and death where as Christ brought life through the Spirit. The Law promised life but could not deliver life . Wherefore is the Law good? Yes amen the Law is holy and pure. and the law pointed the way to Christ . But God finding fault with the first Covenant ?? where was the fault then ?? the fault was found in men for they could not keep the Law. Generation after generation you read in the old testament how Israel fell under judgement time n time again for they could not keep the Law. Therefore God seen fit to bless us with a New Covenant and graft the gentiles in. i repeat God does not change but His Covenants do. The works of the Law never justified anybody but faith in Christ justified them immediately. Now in the new Covenant which is far superior than the Torah ..We through the Spirit serve in the Life of the Spirit not in the oldness of the letter . what does that mean ? Now under the blood of Christ ( New Covenant ) we have the infilling of the Holy Spirit ...Gods Laws written on the tablets of our hearts and on our minds..Now we have enduring power from the Spirit which is our helper our comforter our source of empowerment to walk with God in the freedom and Liberty afforded to us in Christ Jesus. But now we have been released from the law, since we have died to what held us, so that we may serve in the new way of the Spirit and not in the old letter of the law. Romans 7:6

I really love your teachings Robert and I appreciate your effort in making all of these videos. I haven't been able to do much lately because of stomach illness I am battling with so I appreciate being able watch good Biblical preaching. God bless you and your family brother.
-
it only shows how holy ,evrlasting and unchangeble the law of god.. because if he can abolish and change it.. there is no need for jesus christ to die in the cross in order to save us.. there is no need for grace if he can change the law.. very siple logic
-
very incosistent explanation... u said the laws start from moses.. and if u want to kp the law u must first circumcize... but in the bible abraham was circumsized .. and abraham live long time ago before moses .. now the question is where did abrahm get that law if the was just started only in the time of moses? gen 17:26

Joh 1:17 For the law was given by Moses, BUT grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. BUT was added by translators, note that anytime you see words in ITALICS in scripture you can be sure this was only added for either continuity or out of plain ignorance of scripture. The correct rendering is 'AND' , please see: http://biblehub.com/text/john/1-17.htm

Oakley's brothers and sisters stay away from this man's teachings he's leading you astray the big deception he is teaching it
