Many refer to the birth of Jesus as God's greatest gift to mankind. It is true that Jesus came as a gift for us (See John 3:16). But, the baby in the manger is only the gift wrapping. As we unwrap this gift, we see that God not only gave us a baby in a manger...but inside the wrapping...we have the gift of eternal life. We have the gift of Healing. The gift of Joy. The gift of freedom. The gift of love. The gift of Salvation. However, unwrapping the gift God gives us is only one part of Christmas. Remember, Christmas is Jesus' birthday. And when we go to a birthday party, it is we who should be giving the gift. In Micah 6, the Bible tells us what gifts God is looking for. It is the gifts of justice, mercy and humility. In this message we discuss each of the these gifts in turn and how we can practically give them to Jesus. This Christmas unwrap the gift Jesus has given you and give Him the gifts He is asking for. Give Him the gifts of Justice, Mercy and Humility. Give Him the gift of You. Jesus, I have nothing to give you, but today I give you me.
