I have been asking God for healing for almost a year now. I have been feeling like he has been withholding it from me. But what you said really hit me:

"At some point, your child is going to look at you and when you withhold something from him or her... when you don't let your child have something that they really want. And when they look at you and they say: "You don't love me." And when that happens... just try not to blow up. You want to say, "How dare you... you have NO IDEA what I have done for you... you have NO IDEA the SACRIFICE, you have NO IDEA of the things i have withheld from myself to raise you... and IF YOU KNEW all that I had done for you, you would NEVER question my motive from withholding that from you. IF YOU KNEW ALL THAT I HAD SACRIFICED FOR YOU, YOU WOULD KNOW THAT I HAVE A LOVING PURPOSE FROM WITHHOLDING THAT FROM YOU."

"and once we have committed entirely to His will, we can receive his guidance humbly and boldly."

So wait, what about the Lord? Are you not saying that you are saved by grace? You have to make the chice to fallow and obey the commentment, right for the rest of your life?
